Easy To Read: Florida State Map (Rand Mcnally Easy to Read!)

I searched all over to find a map ofFlorida and finally found it on Rand McNally at Amazon. Just what I needed to explore Florida. Very current and up to date roads. Even though I can find routes on my GPS, having the whole layout of Florida is totally helpful.

gives a good overview of the state and where major cities and things are. I like to be able to look over the state at a glance if I am in the mood for an overnight, or weekend, trip

Purchased two, because another reviewer stated that the state is split (north Florida on one side, south on the other). My intention was to create a large poster map for viewing. Worked perfect!

Excellent. It is very handy since you never know when you can loose signals on your GPS. I will order maps from other states as well.I love it.

i wanted a map of the whole state ,but sections of Fla were in different areas of the map i wanted to see every part of fla all connected

When my 28 year old daughter and her husband moved from Minnesota to Florida last August, I suddenly b came very interested in learning about that state. I found this map to be very informative and easy to read and refer to it again and again.

Used this for a trip to Florida. It was clear and easy to read. I used it more for trip planning rather than actual navigation as we had a GPS in the car. It was very useful and far better than the maps car hire companies sometimes provide. There is a very good level of detail should you wish to venture off main roads. The paper it is printed on it quite thin and quickly started to wear along the creases, so 4 rather than 5 stars.

Although we had sat-nav in the car whilst on holiday in Florida, we found this map to be invaluable. It's very big, so folding it up to get it down to the area you want can be a little difficult, but the detail is excellent and really helped to put our minds at ease when we were a little unsure about whether we were going in the right direction. We also used it to mark up particular places of interest, which was great for working out travelling times etc. Highly recommended if you're taking a trip to Florida any time soon and want a reference tool that's not sat-nav!

Bought for a road trp to Florida, where it proved to be invaluable. It shows the "little" roads that the maps the hire care company don't show, thus making it easier to plan a route. We used it so much that it eventually started to show a few signs of wear and tear, but there's enough life in it for next time. I'd certainly say buy this before you go (as we did) as finding a map in the supermarkets was impossible (I checked) and you'd need a bigger town to have an actual bookshop which sold maps.

I have used many books and maps of Rand McNally for USA and cannot recommend them enough. I have bought the reversible double sided maps and they are excellent. They are easily stored on the dashboard and are very very accurate and EASY to use. Mileage distances are varied and helpful. Excellent value - mine have endured many many holidays touring deep south and eastern states.

This is a great map if you have a large dining room to lay it out flat on. It is rather large and is printed on pretty thin paper. So when I get to our Orlando base I only hope that they have a large flat area in the room. We will simply add the area we want to the Sat Nav the following morning ad hope for the best. If I tried to take it with us, I imagine it will look well used, torn and folded the wrong way from day one.
