Jack Dempsey Needle Art Barnyard Friends 9" Nursery Quilt Blocks

This is ready to quilt for a great grandson that will be born this summer.

I love this quilt! The design is simple and cute! My grandson loves it too

My Mom is 93 years old and still loves to embroider. I love these stamped Nursery Block quilts as the stamping is always clear and the material is of good quality. The blocks are easily cut into rows for easier handling. I would suggest running a line of stitching around the edge of each strip to stop fraying if you choose to do this. There is the usual suggested colors to embroider each block, but Mom loves being able to pick out her own colors (think blue cows, pink horses and multicolored cats). I think this is a wonderful heirloom gift as Mom embroiders, I add the quilting strips and the newest baby in the family is the recipient. Usually, these were given as wall hangings.

The twelve stamped for embroidery blocks are so cute! My mom,aunt and I divided the blocks to embroidery for a new arrival! We each added our own personal touches to each block. Notice what was done with the pig block. Too cute! I recommend this block set!

The animals were as cute as could be, but fabric they were printed on was cheesy. That is why I could only give it a three. When quilt was done the under fabric showed through the animal blocks.

clear print makes it easy to stitch...wish the fabric was a little more substantial

Very cute. I didn't make a quilt but cut each picture and made small pillows for little handicapped children in my neighbour's class. They loved them! And that makes me so happy!
