I use this car camping, and my auxillary battery can run it on the lower setting and at this setting it has no problem boiling water, (re)heating meals, etc. The electric draw on the higher setting is quite a bit higher than advertised, and it overpowers my Goal Zero 500X battery, but since the lower setting does everything I want, this has been fine. Perhaps as a result of using the very competent lower setting, I've had none of the issues described by others in terms of loss of non-stick surface.

Amazing product. Quick heat, sturdy and easily serves family og 4. Easy to stir fry, watm up foods. The little spatula supplied is a great supportive tool. Throughly recommend.
