Men's Metros Retro Fashion Sneaker

There's nothing to think over, just order a pair. I imagine most young heads don't understand what a huge deal BKs were back in the day. When other sneaker companies were focused on athletic use, British Knights made it about style. You'd see them in music videos. When the Metros dropped around 85/86, the only other brand that came close in popularity was TROOP (and maybe Ballys or Filas). Jordan 1s were out in 86, but so expensive that no one in my neighborhood dared to wear them. They were so pricey, you had to be careful walking through your neighborhood, or waiting at a bus stop with them on. BKs were IT. The Metro especially (the black and white, or black with the concrete). By the late 90's, nobody even talked about BKs anymore, though. Fast forward to 2014, BK starts releasing classic throwback designs. I honestly had no idea until recently that the Metro was even available. No hesitation, ordered a pair (which amazingly were priced down to thirty bucks on sale). Showed up at my door in just a couple of days. They look exactly as I remembered. The fit is PERFECT, about as true to size as you could want for new kicks. But then came the best part.... We relocated out to the sticks, but I'm a city kid. I knew that no one would recognize them out in the boonies. But when I wore them in the city, I couldn't believe how many comments and questions I got about them. Old heads will recognize them in a heartbeat. Younger guys didn't know the brand, but would ask me what they were, because they liked the design. For me, it was like stepping foot in a time machine. To a much better time. I've never been into coke-white AF1s, wild looking high-tops. This is what I like, and these are perfect. I just could not be happier having bought these, and I'll be ordering more styles soon. Would also make a great gift for any old-school sneaker head.

exceeded my expectations, my last pair of bk was 30 years ago, i like these better than my air force which i always have a least 1 fresh pair of, i think thats gonna change now, i bough three different color ways because i love this pair, my daughter say ask how much they were because she said the look expensive, was surprised when i told her, im telling you best pair for shorts and summer wear. nice fancy casual look, light, very comfortable, easy to clean.

Great price, great fit. Im buying more pairs before they sell out.

one small problem: idu θese darn double laces θat wont stay closed. will probably hurt sales

Very comfortable. I usually wear size 12, but I got these in a 13 due to stupid inherited toe issues and these work out the best. A solid built sneaker.

They look much better in person than in the photo; they have a more voluminous look and a raised sole. Overall, they make a good impression. I think they'll look really impressive with a medium-thick sock this fall. I think they're perfect for Brooklyn. Important addition: I fell on the stairs while wearing them in the rain—the soles are hard and slippery🫢

These shoes are awesome. Its a great product when it looks just like the ones we wore in the early 90s! I’m actually a small size 14 so when other reviews said that these sizes were a big fit I was hopeful. Shipping was awesomely fast and the shoes fit perfect. Really loved this shopping experience. The nostalgic look and feel to these BK’s is priceless. I actually wore these in high school and now here in 2021 This older fella is getting heaps of compliments on his kicks. Thanks. Wish the Ultra’s were brought back too.

I used to wear British Knights back in the early 90s when I lived in London. I have to admit, I never knew they were a New York shoe brand, there was no internet back then. When I saw I could get these shoes shipped to Australia, I had to jump on the chance. If you already know your US shoe size, there's no problem with sizing. I was confident it would fit because I've always been a US size 10. I love this sneaker. Couldn't be happier !
