I use caltric gaskets for many motorcycles in my shop with no issues. It's just gasket material, so I'm betting all of those users who had a torn gasket or a leaking gasket is their own fault.Unfortunately this specific listing is inaccurate. Do not buy this if you have a 2007 or older Yamaha R1, it is not the right one like the ad says.

GREAT DEAL GOOD PRODUCT

Replaced the stator AND gasket on my bike and shortly after noticed a leak.Part of the gasket must have blown out and started leaking during use but was still partly attached.Luckily I saved the old gasket that was still in useable condition.What is it with amazon products, I have to return at least 75% of everything I buy because of the poor quality.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!I want to buy it once and get the correct product and use it without any issues.Not buy it and have some kind of problem with the product and then have to deal with the hassle of returning it. Step your game up Amazon. Very dissatisfied customer!

This is the second gasket I have purchased. The first one tore and I'm pretty sure it was not installer error, but we shall see. I'm giving 5 stars but if this one fails, I will be updating my review to reflect that.UPDATE: THE SECOND GASKET TORE JUST LIKE THE FIRST ONE. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO THE SELLER AND WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW AGAIN AFTER THEY CONTACT ME.

Does not fit a Yamaha and just buy removing from the plastic it teared in parts
