They do work
Had a critter from the attic fall into a wall and die, horrible smell consumed my master closet. The company i hired to trap/secure my roof, suggested these. And YES, they do magic! Took about 3 weeks to totally remove the smell, well worth the price! Hung up 2, removed everything and painted to completely rid of smell

Safe and non toxic must buy!
Purchased this as it was recommended by our pest control company. We had a possible dead animal in our wall/ceiling that we couldn’t seem to locate. After our pest control company came out and indicated they couldn’t retrieve the animal, it was recommended we buy this product. We bought it and immediately put the item to use. After 1-2 hours, with the product doing its job the smell was noticeably better. We placed the product up high, had the ceiling fan going, and an air purifier going as well. After 24 hours the smell was almost completely gone, with the exception of a slight odor when entering the room. About 48 hours and the smell is now gone and we were able to turn the ceiling fan off. We never opened the window during this odor removal process as we live in the south and didn’t want all the heat/humidity coming into the cool house. Would highly recommend this product!

4 bags, $75.00 and it did nothing
We tried numerous things to get rid of mice. Not sure what caused them to enter our home, they were actually in the wall. We heard them in the back bedroom and front room. Finally after being worried that they could chew up our electrical we put poison under our mobile home. We live in a retirement community at the Texas/Mexico border and I've heard a few people had trouble with them but generally only if a cold snap was headed for us which is rare. The sounds stopped after a few days after putting out the poison but then it started to stink....BAD! They apparently died in the bedroom wall but the smell drifts through the entire home. I tried a big industrial fan/ceiling fans and 2 floor fans and with the windows open and AC on in 100+ temps. This is day 6 and we just can't take it, there is no way to remove the varmints unless we tear out the walls! Anyway, we bought 4 of these bags ($75.00 for the special to get one bag free) to hang in the bedroom, we left 2 windows cracked and had the bags hanging on coat hangers with NO change! I sat down tonight and cried like a baby because we don't know what else we can do. If we were able I swear we'd move out!

Best Odor Eliminator
My family and I had the unfortunate situation where something crawled under our house and died. The smell permeated the entire house and it was rather awful. I called several people to see if anyone could go retrieve the offending creature, but noone around my rural location was able to assist and noone who lives here, myself included, was in a position to do it ourselves. My desperate online search turned up this product, and so I ordered 2. My grandfather threw mothballs under the house in his own attempt to help, and that made the problem worse for my husband and I- we react very strongly to the smell of mothballs. This product not only got rid of the dead animal smell, it also eliminated the mothball smell in the house. Just remember to read the directions- it has to be hung up, not just tossed on the ground. My only regret was not getting more of them, as they were worth every penny.

Helped with dead rat smell
In addition to getting rid of the dead rat in our duct work (yuk!), cleaning out and spraying bleach water in the duct boxes under our house and replacing the duct the mice/rats had chewed up, I also placed this on top of the foul smelling vent. Finally!!! I do believe this helped absorb some of the left over order. You just haven't had a bad smell problem until you've had a dead rat in your AC ducts. Now I am trying everything to keep them away, (100 year old house)-ultrasonic sounders in the yard, wire mesh over openings, copper mesh in all small holes and baited mouse and rat traps outside around the exterior walls of the house. (We do not have pets.) I am open to any further suggestions. And please, no one suggest MINT!! We cleaned out all the mint scented cotton balls I had tried in the past.

Worked okay, not a miracle.
I have a dead animal in my chimney that was smelling up most of the downstairs of my house during the summer months. I tried taking apart the fireplace to get to it, but couldn't pinpoint the exactly location and thought I would have to do some demolition to get at the smell. I bought this hoping it would vanquish the smell. I've had the bag in place for at least a month now. I don't know if the smell has decreased because of the cooler weather (I live in North Florida) or because of the bag. There were still times when I could detect a faint dead animal smell, but not as strong as before (again, I don't know if it was the bag or decomposition running its course). It was worth a shot and if it decreased the horrible smell even a little bit (which it seems like it did), it was worth it to me.

It works. Elevating it seems to be the trick to it
It works. What I really like is that it REMOVES the odor instead of just covering it up with another scent like other products I’ve tried. The key is placement, especially when dealing with a dead rodent in the wall. I bought two bags just in case. I originally placed one on the floor by the baseboard and the other on top of the toilet since the smell was coming through the bathroom wall. The one on the toilet seemed to be doing most of the work. After it started working, I moved that bag to the bedroom (opposite side of the wall) because I noticed a faint smell there, but that didn’t help. (Was placed on baseboard in bedroom) Eventually, the horrible smell came back in the bathroom. Once I put the bag back on the toilet, the smell disappeared again shortly after. What I realized is that elevating the bag seems to help, maybe because odor gases rise. If you think it’s not working for you, try moving it higher. Also, give it a few hour, it’s not instant, but you WILL notice a difference. It might take a little trial and error with where you place it, but it’s definitely not a waste of money.

Saved my sanity
These bags were recommended on a forum I came across. We had rats. Like really?! I tried to trap, then catch them. I knew the odor they would leave behind with poison. But I ended up having to bait my house and garage. I finally noticed no activity and knew they were all dead... In my walls and between my upper and lower floor. My lower level started slightly smelling...I seemed to be the only one that noticed. Then within two days, full on rotting corpse. I live in Florida so when I say the humidity made the sink worse, I mean it. I have a 1500 sqft lower level (that's what stunk so noticeably). I noticed it really smelled the worst along the back wall. So I hung two... One in the kitchen and one in the living room. It does specifically tell you they NEED to hang and you need to ventilate with a window open and circulate with a ceiling fan. I didn't have a lot of hope for it to work. But we were close to not living in the lower level until it decided to turn to dust! I hung it around 8pm. I turned off my scent diffusers (it will remove that smell too). By the next morning I noticed it was fast more bearable. Wasn't great. But you could deal. I opened the doors back up for the day. Within the next 15 hours the scent cleared out entirely. You can't "air out" dead rat smell. You can't cover it. You can't wait it out. Especially when you're pretty sure there's about 6-8 that are dead. But I'm telling you, these worked and worked quickly. I will be leaving them up for the next few months until I know that their tiny corpses have fully eradicated. Don't listen to the people that are all... Oh don't waste your money they don't work. I'll bet money they didn't hang them or take them out of the plastic bag they come in! Trust me when I say, people aren't the brightest.
