Nerf Dog 13in 2-Ring Strap Tug - Blue/Green

I has been looking for this since trying Nerf’s version with the rope glued in the middle. That one is pointless, this design is what should be offered more regularly. It is durable as a tug and my dog even plays fetch with it. She leaps and twists in the air and grabs it by the nylon strap in the middle. I wouldn’t let a dog do this unless they are extremely agile and probably don’t recommend for fetch because it could cause injury but I have an Australian Shepherd who doesn’t like tennis balls or frisbees (weird, I know) but this is the toy. She has played with these since she was a puppy and no substitutions will do. It’s a great tug for a medium sized breed, the nylon is strong and well put together. These last about six months of intense outdoor play for us, even in snow and colder temps, the color doesn’t fade and the rubber or nylon doesn’t deteriorate even when left in the sun or rain. I wouldn’t recommend this for a chewer, our old Boston/Pug mix could tear into one (the rubber part) like a lawnmower but he could do that with any toy we had. Probably wouldn’t work well for a very large breed dog but for a mid-size like ours it’s great and she really digs in and pulls hard with these. I hope that I will continue to find these online because our local pet stores have a poor selection of quality toys.

Both dogs I bought this toy for love it. Usually the new toys lose their appeal after a short time but both dogs love this toy after several months. Very durable and easy to clean

Lasted less than 2 weeks. Second time we got this but it lasted months the first time

Did not last very long as my two dogs played tug of war and broke.

It held up great for my smaller dogs. But once my Bernese began playing tug with it, snapped so easily. So I would recommend for smaller dogs, but not dogs with any real strength behind their tug

We have a dog that will tear apart any toy. She absolutely loves this toy and has only taken out little chunks of it so far, after 2 months of having it. It’s a great toy for dogs who love playing tug!

This is our Golden's favorite toy. His first one finally wore down and broke after 4 years, so bought again!
