Beautiful and informative book
This book is somewhat academic. That can be a good or bad thing depending on your interest in Native American jewelry. Despite the academic slant, I thought it was well-written and I learned a lot. The best part, though, was the presentation. The book is beautifully put together with wonderful photographs of exceptional examples of Pueblo jewelry.

Fantastic Book,,,, just poorly executed
The book is very informative with lots of AWESOME COLOR PHOTOS. The depth of coverage and information seem to be well researched and presented in a manner that would help everyone understand the true history and nature of the topic. However; I am sorry to say that the "print type is way too small for the amount . I am only 57 years old (only...) and found that I HAD TO USE "CHEATER" EYEGLASSES to be able to read any of the book comfortably. The even tinier captions under the photo's were even more difficult to read. VERY PROBLEMATIC AND DISAPPOINTING. I would enjoy this book so much more even if it were 25% bigger or heavier. So,,, that being said,,,, buy this book but be ready to struggle to read it.
