Seemed well built and ran relatively cool, but if you are looking for convenience, look elsewhere. Without spending another $18-25 for an additional tray for each drive you want to hot swap, there is absolutely no advantage to this enclosure. One still has to fumble with tiny little screws to secure the drive into their proprietary tray. The entire tray is swappable, the drive is not without screwing it into the one and only tray provided.

USB 3.0 and a new power supply. The major issue with the earlier version was that the power supplies failed. This version has changed that and should be more reliable. So far, so good.

I was looking for a USB3.0 connector for faster transfer speed. The looks of the enclosure are appealing and go with other black color devices I have in my desk. I was surprised that my 7200 RPM drive did not sound to loud inside this enclosure. I would recommend this production to anyone else.

I own a few of these units and they're solid. The new sled which ships with the newer units is much nicer than the older sled which didn't support SSD drives. Don't let the packaging fool you - these units support up to at least 6TB but the box might state 3TB. I found this out by contacting their customer support which has always been helpful.
