Coastal Pet Rabbit Lead & Harness RED

We recently got 2 rabbits and a hutch off Craigslist and my wife wanted a way to play with the bunnies in the yard without being stuck in a tiny play pen and without losing them if allowed to run around. We looked locally at PetsMart and Petco but neither had this style of harness in stock. We didn't want the vest style because that cover up too much of the rabbits body. We saw these on Amazon and figured for the price we'd give it a shot (ordered a red and a black one).They got here quickly and as advertised.Getting these on a rabbit is not that easy - depending on the demeanor of your bunny. My wife figured it out within about 5 minutes and was only scratched twice.You have to get the rope snug or your rabbit is going to chew through it. Our tried to chew, but we quickly tightened the harness and then they lost interest.Once on, the harness is great (see pics). My wife and the neighbor kids love to run with the bunnies.Very good investment.

We have a one year old very sweet, very fluffy rabbit. She hangs out with us in the house but we couldn't take her outside for fear of her hopping off. I had always threatened to buy her a leash.One day I decided to check Amazon to see if such a thing existed. It did and it had great reviews and was very inexpensive. I ordered it and thought for the money it was a gamble worth taking.I was pleasantly surprised when she took to it so well. She isn't crazy about putting it on. And you have to read the directions before trying to put it on the rabbit. But now I can take, I mean my rabbit can take me for a walk 😉. She is secure in the leash and I am not afraid she will wiggle out.One small hint: practice with the leash a couple of times before trying it on your rabbit. It stresses them out a little so if you are quick to slip it on and adjust it, everyone is happier.

This works and is pretty easy to put on if your rabbit is calm. If it is jumpy, then it gets harder. The only problem with this harness is the mechanism to tighten the harness. Sometimes it pinches the rabbit's hair and if you aren't careful, it'll take some of the rabbit's hair along with it when you remove the harness.

It actually held my spastic rabbit pretty well, but he chewed it off in about 3 seconds when he got a hold of it. If they would improve the material to make it chew-proof, it would be a much better product. My husband kept the hardware pieces and plans on remaking his own using his own string.

I like the simplicity and style of this harness. My only complaint is that the harness itself could have been made from a more durable cord. Other than that, it does its job and isn't too bulky. This is my go to harness.

Always pay attention when it is on your rabbit... Mine almost chewed through the thin rope. Overall I like it, not too bulky or hot for the rabbit. If you have a rabbit that does not really like to be handled, you should trying getting something else. It is kind of hard to get on.

Is an awesome harness, but my rabbit keeps gettin her feet caught in the leash part where you can adjust the harness size. It leaves a big gaping hole and she gets tangled. Also the leash part is very short and there is no shock absorption if my rabbit decides to sprint/run around. She immediately gets jerked back if I don't run with her fast enough. Invest in a H harness for cats. Small for dwarves and medium for anything larger. It's much better. I just bought one with a shock absorbing leash and extended it with another attachment leash.

The harness is very simple and easy to put on. The leash is long to so you don't have to bend down while your furry friend is hoping around. The adjustment is what is a little bit of an issue but it works.

Happy with the lead. I have rat's of different sizes and it fits them all (I don't use it for babies).

Very simple for a bunny or other small animal. Adjustable; I bought it for a hedgehog.
