Q: Do these scarves have a chemical smell,because thay smell does not come out,ex,like in some sheets,in the wash? Thank you

My scarf does not have a chemical smell to it. I opened the package and it has been in the pocket of my coat. I didn't notice any smell when I opened it.

Q: could you use these scarfs for a head wrap?

Dimensions are 20"x62", see through material, delicate, elegant looking. I use them to wrap my bun up. As Christian woman I wish to cover my long hair according to Scripture, so I put up my hair into a bun and wrap the scarf around it, tying a knot and have the remaining end sections hanging down from the bun. Looks neat, keeps hair in place which is important for me on the job where I move around a lot and can't have hair come loose. I have the brown/tan and black/white ones and will order some more in other colors to go with the outfit I wear on any given day. Hope this helps.

Q: Are these big enough to use as a shawl with a long dress?

I agree with the other folks. It is very sheer so if you want to use it as an accent to your dress that would be fine. But not for any warmth.

Q: Is color 705 more green or blue?

It will be light to darker shades of the greenish blue, I didn't get 705, purchased 704 which is shades of light blue to dark navy. You will like it with whatever you wear.
