There is a distant rough edge around the "bulb". It seems as it was manufactured in 2 different pieces and glued together and that is where the rough part is. Wife did not want to try.

So i would have liked to upload photos with this review but alas i will leave it to the reader's imagination. Arguably the best invention ever this unit with it's offset head angle is able to reach recessed areas of special interest and have a highly positive effect, as for massaging an area with a little knot it was quite good with different approach angles and releasing any pent up tension. Good variable speed modulation and energy efficiency.
