Saved me a lot of money and headache....
I'm happy that I stumbled upon this replacement dvd laser lens because I was about to just throw my xbox 360 in the trash. It's really cheap even with shipping. Most of the replacement hitachi drives that are available are either used or refurbished and cost a good amount of money when you include shipping. Prior to replacing the lens I was getting disc scratch errors and graphic errors. Just a reminder, DO NOT FORGET TO DESOLDER THE ESD near the ribbon connection or else you would get an OPEN TRAY error even though you put a game disc inside it.

Dont buy
Got three exchanges, nothing but bunk lasers, they were soo burnt out the lens wasn't even blue when i recieve them. avoid him like the plague. Don't let them intimidate you with their "PC TECH ENGINEER". I was able to provide my proof of a Computer Hardware engineer, they couldn't.

Brand New, NOT Refurbished.
This was, much to my surprise, a brand new Samsung drive laser. It was exactly the same shape, layout, and form factor as the laser it replaced. Worked flawlessly the first try.Don't forget to desolder the ESD jumper before you install it, though.

Purchased as a backup....
Purchased as a backup, & installed when the time came. Well the time came, & went. It did not work... I put my old laser back in for now, being it will read some games.
