Good product, expensive but you don't use much.Husband been told to cut down on salt due to health issues, thought this maybe a useful alternative while weaning himself off salt

I prefer this to so called low salt products as this is a genuine salt alternative, i.e. no sodium. It has the same taste of salt which is good but is expensive.

Basically, it's potassium chloride, which is the only salt that tastes remotely like normal sodium chloride salt. Yes, it's salty on the tongue but has a slightly unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Does it actually 'season' the food, to bring out the flavour like proper salt? Even LoSalt (only 60% potassium chloride) doesn't work for me on my porridge - I have to add some real salt too.What I bought this for was not to reduce sodium but to get a potassium supplement. This helps a problem I had with heart palpitations and arrhythmia. It really does seem to help.

This product is sincerely horrible with a very disgusting after taste I really thought I’d seen another option but nahhh rather not use no salt than this no salt product.
