My smoker doesn't have a vent to help control temperature. Amend that...it didn't have, but it does now. It comes three to a pack, but don't worry, I suspect you'll find use for at least one other after seeing how easy it is to install (one drilled hole is it) and how effective it is. Recommended.

These vent dampers perfectly replaced the ones on my Weber Smokey Mountain smoker. The originals were in sad shape after 20+ years of service, bent and leaky. Installation was easy, and only required drilling out the original rivets and attaching the new dampers with the included nuts and bolts. In retrospect I could have removed the old dampers, hammered them back into shape, and reattached them with $3 worth of hardware and accomplished the same thing. But considering that the originals lasted two decades, I'm pleased with this purchase.

to be use replacing old vents on Weber products. Can be used to modify any grill or smoker that doesn't have vents. need 1/4 inch drill for thru bolt and you would need a uni drill bit to make the vent holes. Worked great for my Brinkmann smoker.

Exact match to original, hardware sucks, if you tighten it you can’t move it. If you loosen the bolt it unthreads itself every time you turn it. Overpriced wish I would of just put heat tape over the old one.

Man, I’m kicking myself for not installing these years back when my original vents started getting banged up. These were a quick and easy install. Just used a drill bit to drill out the original rivets and slapped these in the same hole. My WSM is an older model 18.5”

Exactly as described and came in a timely manner. Haven't had a chance to modify the smoker yet to put them to use but look forward to getting them installed.** update, after installing the vents on the smoker they are still holding strong. Since I did not use them on an existing grill but rather as a smoker modification I will let anyone know who goes this route that a 3/4" hole is a tad big. I should have made 1/2" holes and everything would have lined up much tighter. The instructions didn't mention a size to drill and I would imagine that is because they are designed for a direct replacement.
