TV drama starring Victoria Principal as Joanne Dawson, a high profile attorney married to a judge. They are the perfect, and politically correct, couple. But when Joanne takes on a sensational murder case, the trail leads right to her own front door...

Good movie. Looking forward to watching it again after several years.
I saw this film a few years ago and was very pleased that it was still available. It's quite good and I'm looking forward to watching it again.

Better than average TV movie
Trying to review this film without giving the game away is hard because we know who commits the crime. The real mystery is will the perpetrator be brought to justice or will he get away with it? Victoria Principal plays DA Joanne Dawson who is assigned the case of prosecuting a blackmailing pimp for the murder of his prostitute accomplice. As Joanne builds the case against him she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem, especially as the trial judge is her lover. What she uncovers may put her own future and possibly her life in danger.I am not generally a fan of TV films but on this occasion I kept watching. The tension was sustained all the way through, only let down by the ending which, I thought was a bit too far on the melodramatic side. I do not think that this film deserves its 18 certificate by the BBFC. I would have thought 15 more appropriate but maybe it breeches the BBFC's small print somehow. The full screen picture is not the best quality. The DVD exras are: About the Film, Star Biographies, Scene Selection and Trailers.
