3rd time buying these seed bags for my spores, 3rd time theyve molded over with black mold. Bought $30 bag from a mushroom supply company that actually PROPERLY prepares theirs so they arent contaminated and overly wet, and I got a great harvest.DO NOT BUY THESE SEED BAGS IF YOU ARE GROWING MUSHROOMS. Total waste of valuable and and hard to come by spores, which is what sucks, the fee dollars I paid for them isnt a big deal.

After receiving the product I injected it with a spire syringe in completely sterile environment and incubated for 7-8 weeks at correct temperature. 7-8 weeks later there is no contamination and no growth at all. The product appears to have dried out completely. I bought 3 bags and out of the three bags one reached full colonization. The other two were completely ineffective. So it seems from this experience you are taking quite a risk with your money and your time.

Gonna give it 5 for now. Seemed like the top 3/4 was realy dry and the bottom 1/4 mushy but I’m gonna just wait and see. I used to prepare bulk WBS so I have a good idea what it should look like. Seller shipped fast and was professional. Also no contams so far and that’s always a plus. Also it really irritates me when I see people give negative reviews when 1. people don’t know what they’re talking about and 2. If there’s a problem, wait and see if the seller is willing to make things right if they are indeed at fault. Reviews are important to sellers and people leaving negative reviews about topics they aren’t qualified to review is a huge flaw in the system.

This is a terrible product. The first one arrived with mold already in it, the second bag was split open. Every subsequent bag developed mold. Any company that tells you to hang on to their “sterilized” product for two weeks before using has no confidence in their quality control. And don’t even get me started on how lousy their customer service is. This is a substandard, overpriced product.

10/10 would recommend this product, it was exactly what I needed for my mushroom cultivation. So excited to have found a reliable & sterile grain bag. I did not have contamination issues and the self-healing port is dummy proof. I have ordered from Northspore's website before and I'm excited to see them on prime now. So excited to grow at home! I’ve received my bag today and when I opened it there was a rip in the side, looked like it maybe happened during delivery. Hopefully it still works will leave an update

The product was exactly as discribed, the only issue is that amazon had damaged it before shipping (the box was pristine while the actually packaging was damaged significantly)

I'm quit concerned at this moment. I inoculated 9 bags along with 9 rye berry bags. The 9 rye berry bags all have growth with zero tam. The 9 millit bags show zero growth and zero tam. They were all inoculated using same tech in a sterile zero air flow box. I'm concerned, should these not work I'll be out 9 bags and 5 syringes. Alot of money. I'll update this should the show sines of growth. Pretty disappointed at this time
