Bought for first Grandchild
Bought this for first grandchild 5 1/2 years ago. Currently being used for grandchild no3. Does what it is supposed to do and offer support when baby is in the bath before they are able to sit up.

Life saver
I don't often write reviews, but this bath has saved me from the hell I went through with bathing my first daughter, so if I can encourage someone to buy it, I will. With my first little girl I tried various baby baths, but still had to hold her slippery body *and* wash her. Then I tried bath stands to use in the big bath, but bending over the bath hurt my back and none of the supports/stands were perfect. This IS perfect. I've been using it since my baby was ten days old and she's just turned 12 weeks now and absolutely adores it. It's her favourite place to be. She feels safe and secure, and because there haven't been any slippery accidents (thanks to this bath), she's got absolutely no fear of the water. It's even more secure and solid than it looks in the picture and because it's only small, I've been able to carry it full of water without hurting myself after my c-section.Because my husband works a lot and isn't usually around to help - if I didn't have this bath I'd really struggle to bath my daughter. As it is, she gets a bath nearly every day just because it's so easy to do and she loves it so much. It's easy to empty too, which is always a plus.My only problem with it is now that I'm so attached to it, my long-legged baby is soon going to grow out of it. She already uses her feet to push herself up the back and then splashes back into the water (soaking me - but the squeals of delight are worth it). It's probably going to last another month and then I'm going to have to find an alternative :o( But it really is worth it for the first four or so months, when your baby is so floppy and difficult to bath on your own.

Back saver and great for baby :)
An amazing little bath that makes bath time a lil less stressful .You can just half fill it for your baby and i used it just on our bed with a couple of big bath towels under (more central not edge of bed! ) we have a high bed and i struggle with my back .you can get a proper stand which is good or just simply on the floor is best :) Its just nice for your little one to lay in from about 2-3 months .And did our Daughter to 8 months (obviously depends on size of your baby ) it was great not fiddling and trying to keep her steady in the usual big baby baths that i have struggled with in the past and you have to buy extra supports etc .newborns you still need to support them obviously as there unable to hold their heads and the bottom support was a bit large etc but at 2 months (obviously still aiding her support and keeping her steady ) the bath was brilliant and eventually she was sitting herself up and refused to lie back .The size i think makes baby feel safer as they arnt suddenly over whelmed with water and its easier for you as they cant just suddenly slip (although as with any bath they still try to roll and flip over ! So you must still support ) Im not talking down to anyone now ,but it gives your arms a little rest that all ,its not to be assumed baby is fine while your attention or you go elsewhere ! Sorry its just unfortunatley theres always one ! Its a excellent buy and i would recommend

A great baby bath with built in seat
I spent quite a while researching baby baths before deciding to go with this bath and I have been very pleased with my choice. The unique feature of this bath which made me choose it was the built in baby seat and this made giving our son his baths from as early as a week old so much easier. Unlike traditional baby baths, where there is no seat built in, you do not have to worry about holding your baby - yes, you keep a hand there to support them but you are not bearing all their weight and holding them in position - the seat is doing that for you. This therefore makes it much easier to successfully bathe your baby, giving you both hands free.As our baby boy got older, but before he was ready to sit unaided, he loved reclining on the seat, happily kicking away and having great fun watching the water splash everywhere. Again, he would not have been able to do this without the seat.We used this baby bath until he was 8 months old and ready to sit up unaided in our normal bath. It therefore got plenty of use, and meant we did not need to buy a separate bath seat which I suspect we would have done if we'd just had a normal baby bath. Therefore it saves you money in the long run as this is the only baby bath product you need to buy.

Very useful, but not perfect for small babies
I started using the Tippitoes Mini Bath when my son was 6 weeks old. It was wonderful to have the back support for him, so I could bathe him on my own, but the seat was too wide for his legs to fit around. Also his body had no support on the sides, so it was not entirely a hands-free bath because I still had hold him to stop him sliding sideways. I'm not sure how newborns cope with it, but we found it a little bit tricky at 6 weeks. After a few attempts, and 2 weeks later, I'm using the bath with a cheap foam baby-bath insert, and now we have a much easier time. The insert has padding on the bottom, so my baby is higher up from the seat and can get his legs around it better. Also I feel happier because he is more secure and can't slide around any more.My only question is, how do you wash their bottoms? The only way I can think of is to lift him out of the water, and that's not very easy with one hand when he's wet and he squirming around. Any tips?I'm glad I bought this bath and I recommend it to others. I just wanted to mention that it's easier to use it with a foam bath insert if you have a small baby.
