EVERKI Advance Laptop Briefcase for Men & Women

I've had this bag for *years* and love it. It's lasted through all sorts of trips - it holds a lot of stuff. The shackle/clips on the old shoulder strap finally began to wear out so I just purchased a new bag after countless years. I considered other brands and bags, but I've come to love this bag and all the different pockets. The strap on the back of the bag is now something I would demand for any laptop bag. This stores my laptop, writing notebook, whatever book I'm reading (or Kindle) in the large pocket. The zipper pocket on the outside holds my laptop charger, phone charger, pens, business card holders, company name badge, phone battery backup, any about 20 other little things I carry with me. I live out of a suitcase and this bag. For the price, it cannot be beat (the Amazon Basics bag is similar but the zippers on those pockets don't go down as far to allow you to see/clean out the bottom as easily - that bag also lacks the mesh sling pouch in the bottom that is good for storing laptop accessories like mouse, charger, laser pointer, etc).

The price for the durability is fantastic. I've used this daily for 12 years, and while it's ripped in one place and missing one of the zipper tabs (zipper is still there and works fine!), its still holding up and I have no need to get another any time soon. The big fail point on bags is the straps, and the ones on this are beefy and stitched well. Assuming they haven't changed their manufacturing process for this item, of course.

This bag fits my Lenovo Think Pad perfectly. I love the extra pockets on the inside to keep things organized. Other reviewers have mentioned the orange colored lining which is helpful to see what is inside the bag and I would have to agree. I have only used it a few times, but the handles seem strong and well attached. I have not tried the shoulder strap. The D rings where the shoulder strap attaches are metal and there is reenforced stitching under the D ring. There are two zippered sections and an outside pocket. The zippers and pulls are sturdy. Also the zipper on the compartment for the laptop only opens from the top, which along with the inside organizer pockets was a deciding factor for me when I was looking for a bag. The only thing I would change on this bag is to add a bit more padding to the bottom of the bag where it sits on the floor. Other wise the padding is adequate and I am very happy with this bag.

Some foreign airlines are really picky about what counts as a personal item for carryon. I have been really happy the last few trips using this. Great size for all those items you want access to during the flight--surface pro, headphones, meds, etc. The padding for protecting laptops is good without being bulky. If I have a complaint it is that the pockets could be a little deeper taking longer items (my Samsung S24 fits fine, but my A53 is loo long) and it would be good if at least one or two of the pockets had velcro closure or there was a tab for a carabiner for keys.

As others have said, this bag is attractive and well-laid out. Lots of pockets, a handy outside pocket, and a passthrough strap for your roll-aboard handle. I've been using it steadily now for about a month and a half; steadily meaning 3-4 days a week. I opened it this morning and found that the lining is separating a the top seam. Upon inspection it's apparent that they've skimped on material and there isn't much material (like 4 threads) beyond the stitching. Not shocking then that the lining simply pulls away from the binding at the top of the compartment. Kind of a bummer, because I really liked how compact this bag is. I had planned to return it for a replacement, hoping that this was merely a lemon. Sadly, my return period has expired and by the time I return the bag at my expense and they give me a partial refund it's not worth my time to return it. I'll have to repair the bag and use it for as long as I can. Hope others are having better luck with their bags. *************************** Update: Everki saw my review here and responded to me directly. They've replaced the bag, and that merits respect. However, my work in Quality Improvement drives my admiration. While Everki was interested in addressing my complaint, their real passion was figuring out what failed and why. This is the commitment to long term improvement that is sorely needed by so many organizations. Everything that I said before about the nice design, etc. remains true. I'll add that they Everki really cares about the quality of their products.

I looked at many different computer bags. Glad I chose this one. It protects my laptop, plus has room for folders, cords and the other devices I might need. It is built well and has a nice wide shoulder strap. I have been using it daily for over a year. Love it!

When I first received it, I was worried that my laptop may not fit. It seemed a bit too small. I tried to slide it in, and it was as if the bag was made specifically for my laptop (Lenovo y510p). I've read other reviews on this specific bag that had mentioned the shoulder strap breaking because of plastic rings that hold it on. I took a closer look at mine, and I believe they have changed it to all metal. The rings on mine that connect the strap are pure metal, and there seems to be no plastic on the bad at all. There is plenty of padding, and plenty of room. I purchased the 16" bag, and as I mentioned previously, it's a perfect fit for my laptop.

This bag is perfect, it is exactly what i needed. Some one wrote an earlier negative review about the plastic clips on the strap. Well I don't know what they were talking about because the hooks and hoops on this lap top bag and strap are made of metal. This laptop bag is very simple and straight forward, what you see is what you get. I love it. Perfect size not bulky, very slim and stylish all black with two compartments in the front. I am very pleased with this product. and you cant beat the price. What I absolutely did not want was to have to pay anywhere between $40-60 or more for something similar. My lap top is a 15.6 and there is room to spare. dare I say you could even fit up to a 17" snugly in it . Like the title says this was just what I wanted and needed at the price I was willing to pay for it.

Ich nutze sie jeden Tag für meinen Job. Es passt mein MacBook air hervorragend gut in die Tasche. In die Vordertaschen passen meine Privatschlüssel, die Firmenschlüssel, meine USB-Sticks, mein Dienst- und mein Privathandy und und und sehr gut durch die 4 Einschubtsschen und das Netz darunter. Ich habe sie jetzt 1/2 Jahr in Dauerbenutzung und kann keine Mängel feststellen Ich bin äußerst zufrieden mit der Tasche. Durch ihre geringe Größe wirkt sie nicht so aktenkoffermäßig und ich kann sie locker auch für Termine im unserem Bürogebäude verwenden. Ich hatte vorher div. Taschen probiert, aber entweder waren sie zu klotzig oder Spielzeug mit fehlenden Einschubtaschen.

I take the 16' even if I got a 14' Lenovo ThinkPad and it fit perfectly, it look like I purchased le 14'. Great storage space for business stuff and the look of it is really professional and that's what i was looking for. I recommend it for anyone who want a great quality/price product
