SanDisk 1 GB MicroSD Card
This card was purchased for an LG VX8300 cellphone, that is equipped with a camera, video recorder, and MP3 player. As soon as I installed it in the cellphone, it was immediately recognized and formatted by the phone. I now have the option to store any files on the cellphone's internal memory, or on the MicroSD Card (which frees up the phone's internal memory for other things). And with an inexpensive card reader that attaches to your personal computer's USB port, and the adapter included with the MicroSD Card, you can download photo and video files from your MicroSD Card onto your PC (sorry, I haven't tried to download MP3 files yet). So far, it's worked great! And the price on Amazon is the best price I could find anywhere......!

Snap, Shoot and Listen All You Want With Your LG VX8300
I bought this to use with the Verizon LG VX8300. It worked right out of the box, no problems. With this you can shoot all the photos and video you want and take along a lot of music as well. I use the included SD adapter to transfer music and photos between the phone and laptop. My laptop has an SD slot built in. If yours doesn't you'll need to use a card reader.Of course the thing is tiny so it takes some getting used to inserting and removing it from the phone. Just use a little finesse and you should be fine. If you have a VX8300 you'll love having this MicroSD card.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race
The card works great. The SD adapter is a great touch, but probably necessary as I've never seen an actual MicroSD reader. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is that it's fairly slow. Most people shouldn't be concerned with the speed as these usually ends up in phones or MP3 players. However, the speed does make a difference on my GPS. I know that SanDisk sells a faster Ultra II for more money, but my Kingston 1GB MicroSD (Japanese version, not Taiwanese) is already significantly faster than this basic model and a bit cheaper. Plus the Kingston has a lifetime warranty, although at 5 years the SanDisk warranty covers the usable lifespan of the card. (SanDisk Ultra products have a lifetime warranty). I've heard the A-Data is very zippy, but they are still a little too unproven in my book. This card is a slow but steady performer with unbeatable compatibility (everyone tests their products with SanDisk) and it comes from a solid company. Unless you need a speedy card, it's a great product.

Worked Out of the Box with My Phone and Camera
The SanDisk 1GB MicroSD card combines a very useful amount of capacity with amazingly small size. At 1GB, it will hold hundreds of songs or high-quality pictures, all in a unit about the size of your pinky fingernail. I guess the next step in techological progress will be storing a terabyte on a speck of dust! But the best part about it is that it worked right out of the box. Electronic storage should be something that we can take for granted - no formatting, no worries about compatibility with multiple devices, and this card delivers. I've used it with both my LG VX8300 phone and several different cameras with no hiccups at all.Well, one small hiccup. . . It comes with an adapter that bumps it up to the size of a standard SD card. The description claims "universal" compatibility when using the adapter, but my three-year-old Viking IntelliFlash reader didn't know what to do with it. I called their tech support and they confirmed that not all readers will recognize the adapter even though it fits just fine. So you may be in for an upgrade of your card reader as well.Overall, it's a great piece of storage at a very affordable price.

Perfect for Kodak Easy Share Digital Picture Frame
Thank you so much to the reviewers who explained that some brands of cards do not work in every device, and that SanDisk was the most universal of all the brands. I ordered it for my 5-year old Kodak Easy Share Digital Picture Frame, based on the knowledge I gained from the reviewers, and it works just fine! What a relief. None of my 2G+ SD cards did work. It had to be a 1G. The only thing that threw me were the three parts -- large, medium, very small. After I figured out that the tiny card fit INSIDE either of the other two cards -- which one depends on the device used -- I had no problem. It was the tense 5 minutes when I had no idea what all those pieces were that stopped me from putting it to use right way. This item is actually a two-in-one card, to help explain it to anyone else who doesn't know. You can convert it to two different sizes to fit different electronic devices and use the music or photos you saved in both (not at the same time, of course). Sure wish that had been included n the item's description, but I'm sure it was assumed everyone knew that! :-)

So far, so good
I just recently upgraded my Verizon phone to the LG VX8300. I scoured the internet searching for the cheapest prices on MicroSD cards. Noticing the unusually low price for Kingston, I did a little research (if something is too good to be true, it probably is), and discovered that Kingston MicroSD cards have a known (or did) bug that prevented them from being recognized by certain LG phones. Well, I wasn't having any of that. SanDisk has never given me problems with flash drives before, so I spent a little extra money, and purchased the 1GB card. I've had it for over a month, with no problems. I've taken pictures and video, transferred songs and uploaded new backgrounds on it. The transfer rate is quite fast, and the adapter works perfectly allowing me to easily move files between my phone and my laptop using my memory card reader.

Good buy
This SanDisk 1GB MicroSD Card definitely helped me increase the memory storage in my old LG phone. I then transferred it into my newer LG phone no problem. This was an overall good purchase and I recommend it to anyone looking for a moderate increase in storage for notes, pictures, and wall-papers etc. 1GB would probably not be sufficient enough for heavy users into massive phone gaming, high amounts of pictures, and other data storage. So the higher GB cards would be more suitable for those needs. No matter what SanDisk makes quality products.
