D'Addario EXP11 Coated 80/20 Light 12-53 Acoustic Guitar Strings (Multicolor)

I had been using 85/15 strings as they are what most of the shops keep in my area, but they were not suitable for my Yamaha FG700S, they sounded a bit muted, but then I bought these 80/20 strings from Amazon, and now my guitar sounds better than when I bought it, the sound is bright, it feels like they gave a new life to my beloved guitar and since EXP11 are light gauge, thus I am able to bend and vibrate them easily. Coated strings will give them a long life and I am quite looking forward to it.

Very good tone and decent longevity... These coated strings also do not eat into your nut like the elixirs. elixirs last longer... I but when you're playing professionally, I would say exp strings are better... They aren't like superman... I but for as long as they work... I they give good service. all in all true to the marketing... 5x or maybe even 8x better than normal strings

Sadly there is no variety of ranges in EXP models available on amazon.However i call EXP a love bcoz its durability is something which lasts longer than you actually expect.Offline market its Costly so go ahead try it once via amazon

I love D'Addario strings, for their quality, tone and longevity, but had never tried the 80/20s until I felt that my small bodied hog top needed something a bit brighter than the phosphor bronze. These did not disappoint, and have a similar fantastic tone as standard D'Addarios but with a brighter top end and punchier bass. I cannot recommend them enough, especially if you have a small bodied guitar. These strings last a long time too, even if you play really hard and often, and don't get any of that horrible flakey wear that Elixirs get after a week of serious use. Absolutely top rate professional choice of guitar string.

Diese Saiten sind auf der Ibanez AW65ECE LG standardmäßig drauf wenn man die Gitarre kauft und klingen sehr voll und warm.Die Beschichtung ist nicht rutschig, was ich für meinen Teil lieber habe und auch die Haltbarkeit ist angemessen. (Bei 2 Stunden am Tag halten die Saiten gut 3-4 Wochen)Die so hochgelobten Elixir Saiten hingegen welche ich auch einmal drauf hatte klangen dagegen leider sehr blechern und waren mir persönlich viel zu rutschig. Auch die Beschichtung hat sich nach 3 Wochen an manchen Stellen gelöst.Abschließend kann ich für die Coated 80/20 Bronze strings von D'Addario nur eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen. Meine absoluten Lieblingssaiten!
