DALI ZENSOR 3 7" Woofer 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker - Black Ash Vinyl (Pair)

European Barnes of speakers normally have a distinct warmth with great midrange / vocals while US ones are accentuated at both ends, with better ability to "time" or keeping with the music's tempo / beat. They reflect the choice of music across the two continents.Dali's are delightfully balanced!They time very very well, while managing to maintain a lovely vocal warmth.Zensor 3s are full sized stand mounters build very well. But they don't "feel" as solid as say, a Q Acoustics or Wharfedale.That could be one reason why they don't go deep down and rolls off around 60Hz.At the same time, the treble though, is not bright or metallic.So Dali Zensors are well balanced bringing out the best of my Audiolab run with CD or DAC.For vinyl, a slightly bright cartridge is recommended.Though imaging is spot on and soundstage is good, adding a sub ( high level outs please ) taking over from 60Hz adds great depth.Zensors took about 3 weeks of occasional listening to break-in and mellow down to a decent performance. Low level listening is not recommended as sensitivity is on the lower side.They'd work very well as close field monitors, more so as they are meant to fired straight. Not toed-in.Closer to ELAC gen 2 but not to Q A 3000 series.Dedicated stands would make these even better.

Bass is much deeper than usual. Treble has been perfectly tuned. Mid is the most natural. It is my good luck that from a remote area of India I can earn ZENSOR 3. The HiFi market of India is one of the wrost market in the world. Most common hi fi brand probably don't know how to make loudspeaker box. I have lost lots of money behind them and more than 10 years. Majority of Hi Fi player even failed to provide radio quality sound. Deep bass or light bass does make the sound good. Sound should be as near as recording studio quality. Zensor 3's reproduction of sound is very near to recording studio quality. Thank you Amazon India. Dali Zensor 3 is my one of the most satisfying purchases. Sound quality is excellent in every department. High frequencies may not be the most refined but overall sound quality is hard to find at this price or even at a high price than this. Dali made this a complete speaker package which provides great sound quality. I don't see any other speaker which can beat Dali Zensor 3 in this price and size.

I did not expect this audio quality from a speaker set that costs < Rs.50kThe bass driver and the tweeter are just amazing. Currently running in the speakers. And it's only getting better. Paired it with a Marantz amp and it's just perfect.

I liked the sound which is crisp and clear and bass is loud due to 7 inch driver. At this price it is one of the best speakers in the market.

After a long search for a good bookshelf speaker.... ended up buying this speakers... it has good mid range and heavy bass...
