Quantum QHM5570 Micro SD Card Reader (Red)

It has a bright redlight inside the case that flashes during transfer but remains on all the time.. It is very small compared to standard care readers. The speeds are average and works mostly as mp3 players but not for video capture. Just for copying files from computer to put on the phones etc.. I like the small size since it fits. All the others i had were huge in size and had trouble fitting on the laptop or desktops etc where it will make it hard to use the other USB ports...Now you should ALWAYS eject the card reader if you want it to last or only pull it out when the device is powered OFF. Depending, these card readers do not last very long unless you are very careful. If you just leave it plugged in, it will last years... But only a couple of times of just plugging it in and pulling it out. These devices do not have any power protection and usually the crystal gets burnt out fast when you plug it in.,

Everything about it is perfect (including the fact that it cost me forty bucks), except it's size. It's quite tiny, and that's a pain in the neck when I try connecting this to the TV. If you can deal with that, well, you could favour it over other, more expensive, card readers. Thanks!

Hello Shoppers,So I got Quantum QHM 5570 SD Card Reader a few months back under Rs. 50 and my experience has been pleasant so far. I ordered a couple of these and one of them turned out to be defective which was returned hassle-free by Amazon so no issues. Talking about the product in particular, I'll say that it serves the purpose just fine. Forget build quality, speed, reliability and performance. This will just get you the job done with an okayish data transfer speed and a vast device compatibilty ratio. The device is very compact and can be carried around easily so that's nice. Other than this, don't expect much of this simple TF Card Reader. In case you'd like a better SD Card Reader or a premium high speed one, I'll link them down at the end of this review available on Amazon. Worst product... Ever since this is the first product in Amazon which i bought was a defective item . It's not working at all . waste of money. Please stop the suppliment and remove this product from Amazon marketplace, because it makes a black mark for online shopping. If anyone reads my review , then please don't hesitate my point . Don't buy this product!

Update June 2022... I cannot believe that I am still updating this product.... it may seem odd but this little device is still doing fine. One thing I did notice was that if I format the USB card which is fitted in the SD card reader on a MacBook, it does not detect the partition on a Window laptop. I think its more of an SD card issue thou...Update May 2018... This product is still working and doing a good job. Still 5 stars as it's outlived my rough usage and still going strong.Read a few negative things online but anyways bought it as I intended to use it only a couple of times. What has stunned me is that this has lasted me well and is still working good even after 3 months of rough usage. Maybe I was lucky with this piece or quality has improved.

As of now it's working well And serves my purpose. Durability only time will tell.Update. Card reader not working after 3 months.very sad.not worth buying.

Well it's been more than 3 years now I guess since I've been using this. And it's still works. Worth the money. Go for it.
