Intense Narrative
The book takes you to a portal of another world and here I am not using a metaphor. It's a dramatic representation of how the past would change the present and how everything is interdependent. It posts an important question- should we really want to change the past? Or what we have today is the best that could have happened? If we try to mess up with nature, will it cause more harm than good? The most prominent thing about the book are the details which the author seems to draw so effortlessly. Even though it was a long novel reading it didn’t seem like a task. Took me 4 days to read it yet I will say it’s worth the time.

An Ode to my love it reinvoked for time loop and time travel sci-fi!!
Loved his take on something which resembled the lines of H.G. Wells. And most importantly not horror, a bit spooky, but H.G. Wells sort of good and/or strange spooky!!

Good Condition
The book arrived in a really good condition, with a little bit of the outside paper cover bending but that it expected. Both the front and back have quite cool newspaper texture and are matte. The spine also has a grainy appearance making it look a little old.

Good
I haven't finished this yet but want to give some impressions. It is something you would want to read at your own pace. i generally read thriller books faster but each stephen king book is like a finely prepared dish or wine. you want to get everything out of it that you can. i have been reading Stephen King since many years have read about 11 complete about 5 incomplete books by Stephen King. For sure there are few writers out there who can compete with Stephen King in terms of pure value of the writing.

Good read
It's my first Stephen king book that I have read so I cannot judge him much on this book. King takes us into the America of the 50s and 60s and gives us an alternative take on the Kennedy assassination. The details are so vivid and extensive that it seems that the author himself had a time machine. The protagonist Jake Epping’s friend discovers a time portal in his kitchen that leads to September 9, 1958 from 2011. You can spend as much time as you want in past even years but when you return to 2011 it’s always two minutes later and every visit is a reset (means – whatever you changed in past – if you visit again, it will be erased because you will visit in same time Sept 9, 1958.).The story revolves around Jake Epping and his mission to save JFK but halfway through his mission he falls in love with a girl in 1958 and think that he will never return again to 2011, will he complete his mission or the some kind of force is preventing him from doing it?The ending was pretty normal. Having said that, the novel is well-plotted and reading it wasn't a drag. I had fun while reading it but a normal ending straight up depressed me.

Reflecting on '11.22.63': A Mind-Blowing Journey into Stephen King's Writing
Just finished reading "11.22.63", and what an amazing book it turned out to be! This is my first Stephen King novel, and probably the longest book I've ever read. The way he described the past and the catastrophes that changing it might lead to blew my mind. The ending was perfect and probably one of the best endings I've read this year. Although I've heard that Stephen King tends to mess with the ending in most of his books, I may not be the best judge since it's my first book from him. I'm now intrigued to read more from him and to re-read "11.22.63" after getting a better idea of his usual writing style.

An epic story of love
Yes, a story of love that is uncharacteristic of Stephen King. But the master of horror has outdone himself. He has crafted such a thrilling story of time travel, laden with conspiracy, nostalgia, political facts and a beautiful love story that it makes it difficult to believe that this is the work of one man.You become Jake Epping, the protagonist for the entire duration of the book. You forget that you are living in 2018. You will start living the 1950s and 1960s through his eyes. You will start hating Lee Oswald just like he does. Stephen king succeeds in merging the reader and the teacher in Jake.In 11.22.63 you have gotta focus on every tidbit. Because it is going to return at some point later in the book. The past always harmonizes. Chekov's guns are scattered aplenty. King's brilliance lies in how he has interwoven the story with these things.I wasn't a big fan of Stephen King earlier. Mostly because I was turned off by his The Gunslinger and IT. I was also not very much enamoured by the movies The Shining and The Shawshank redemption. But I happened to catch the TV series of 11.22.63 and I was mind blown. I immediately picked up the book and that proves to be the best decision ever. Finishing 900 pages might seem a daunting task but you will finish it no time.As usual, there is blood and gore in the book but that's as much required to the story than time travelling itself.Go ahead and see for yourself if Jake manages to save the president, and the FUTURE.
