SIMPSON Cleaning PS3835 3800 PSI at 3.5 GPM Gas Pressure Washer Powered by HONDA GX270

After a few times pulling it out, it lost pressure which is probably the pump. Ive owned pressure washers for years but this one broke in a months after a few uses!I bought the Asurion warranty which was worthless as it's been 2 weeks since I submitted the claim and the 2nd company they assigned from another city didn't show up and then when i called said they didn't know when they'd come because the girl didn't show up for work AND EVEN WHEN SHE DOES THEY ARE BACKED UP 10WEEKS and don't know why Asurion keeps sending more. So Asurion says sorry give me 3 days to send you a new vendor... AND THEY SENT THE SAME ONE. Been telling me 3 days every time I call and then offered me my money back MINUS TAXES AND WARRANTY PRICE AND THEY HAVEN'T EVEN DONE A DAMN THING TO EARN THAT MONEY!! My warranty is up in 3 weeks so I guess that's what they are waiting for 2 weeks and no contact unless I contact them!! UPDATE: Asurion threatened to note I was refusing service and would end my claim BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T FIND ANOTHER SERVICE CENTER after blowing me off for 2 weeks and the first not picking up when a worker didn't show up for work AND continued to complain they were behind by 10 WEEKS for repair and asked if Asurion told me this.ASURION apologized and said it would be 3 days to call me back with a new vendor.... this happened several more times with 3 days to call me back.2nd UPDATE: AFTER 2 week wait I'm told that the vendor is the only vendor and they will callthe vendor within the week who will then call me to arrange pick up. It will be 3 weeks from first call that my machine could have been in the 10 WEEK line. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! NOT WORTH THE PRICE OF WARRANTY. Probably better to save the money to go fix the machine elsewhere. At this point I want ALL MY MONEY BACK , Price, Taxes AND COST OF ASURION

Pressure washer was easy to assemble and start. On first use I noticed the pressure hose that came with, a 50ft one, had a coil loop fused together. I had to pull apart this spot so the hose could be used at full length and it left the outer poly jacket damaged. This was disappointing as I chose this package for the extra length of the pressure hose included.

Used this a few times, the 4 gpm has made a huge difference in our jobs. Highly recommended

The machine arrived in good condition. So far I have used it about 10 hours, so I cannot testify about the durability of the unit. However, I can say that this thing eats everything in its path. We just bought a home with a long drive way, a court yard, and a patio all that were covered in years of dirt. I killed a cheap Sears unit trying to get all the concrete clean. I decided the cost of this unit would be worth the price if it made the job easier, and it would last me a lifetime. I was very pleased with the results of this unit. I combined the unit with a 12” flat surface cleaner, and it must have cut my work time by 400%. I also bought an extra 50’ Monster hose. With the long hose I never had to move the unit. I also bought a pressure gage, which is very handy. I did some research after the unit arrived, and I was able to determine that it has a pump made by Comet. If you don’t know already, Comet makes some of the best pumps you can buy. Be advised, you better have a solid footing, and have a good hold of the wand when you pull the trigger, because it will push you back with a strong force. Because of that, it is a workout using this beast. Also, be very cautious with where you point it. I know it should go without saying but this thing can cause some damage, with the pressure it puts out. I got careless and just barely grazed by lower leg, and it pealed the skin off. So, be careful. So far, I can say that it has been well worth the money spent and would recommend this unit to anybody. Also, I spent hours of research on different models and pricing. Don’t waste your time. You will not find anything any better or a better price, that what Amazon has to offer. i am a long time Amazon customer and if they keep offering prices and delivery like I got on this unit, I will remain an Amazon customer.

Quality pressure washer. Easy to assemble. Sad the fuel tank had a dent with chipped paint. Still assessing if there is a hole where it is dented. Read several other reviews that mentioned fuel tank dent. Hope they figure this out. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase and will recommend the 4200 psi 4 gpm Simpson pressure washer to others.

The Simpson Power Shot 4000 is a rugged commercial power washer. I have used them for years with good success. The lower PSI models are not worth the money because of the poor pump design. When you step up to 4000 it is a different pump system so you have a machine that is reliable, consistent and easy to use. YOU MUST CHANGE OIL AND PUMP OIL ON A REGULAR BASIS. Do not run this machine without spraying for long periods of time. (this is true of most PW units) This wears out the internal pistons. If you are gonna step away from the unit for any length of time shut it off. Allows you to do hours of non stop spraying. Packaging for UPS shipping is terrible. This is the third amazon purchase of these units that has come banged up from careless stacking and no Styrofoam protection. Oil bag set up is easy as long as it is not punctured during transit. I use these units every day in my business and have yet to find a surface it can't handle for cold water applications. Side Walks, Concrete parking structures paint removal siding, brick, awnings decks. Adjustable pressure allows you to do low power roof cleaning with right attachments. Add an Erie 20" surface cleaner and you can knock out a Target Store front sidewalk in 15-30 minutes. Yellow nozzle excellent for gum removal. Plastic pump valve cap is poor design and often comes damaged or doesn't fit. I keep the metal plug it comes with.

Have been nursing my 30 yo 4000psi Honda 390 for to long. Great replacement.

very easy to use. put in eng oil and gas hooked up water hose set engine controls. pulled starter cord twice and engine started right up. I washed my truck and then my paved drive way, I am very pleased with this product so far.

Great unit! Very powerful. Used it to clean my foundation prior to applying a membrane. Was able to blast off all the stuck on dirt and flakey tar that was left on the wall after excavation.
