I own a unicorn dazzler. should i use 10w 40 or 10w 50 in it? how long can i go with this oil?

Hi Ismail,10W40 brief explanation: the numbers show that compared to water the oil's viscosity is that many times. 10 means, oil viscosity when it is cold (will be thinner so, it can easily flow when you start your engine in cold climate or in the morning) 40 means, oil viscosity when it is hot (will be thicker, so when the engine is hot, it can give good lubrication) 10W50 means more viscosity when the engine is hot, thus good lubrication for your engine. you can feel butter smoothness. Company recommendation for 10w40 is marketing technique to force to change it often.if the oil is mineral oil, the changing interval is 2000KMs to 3000KMS and if you use fully synthetic oil like the MOTUL 7100, you can use this oil for 6000KMS to 7000KMs depending on your riding style (harsh/decent)10W50 can be used in your bike without any hesitation. (do not go for 5W30 oil where cold flow of oil is excellent but viscosity when it becomes hot is only 30 times of water which is not enough to give good lubrication when the engine is hot.)i hope your would have better understood oil rating now.

which one is best suitable for pulsar 200ns..i'm cinfused beetween motul 7100 10w 50 & 20w 50 which is best?

both are good oil in term of lubrication when the engine is hot, however, which oil flows quick when you first start your bike in the cold morning or in winter is 10W50 which is lot thinner than 20w50 when the oil is cold. when both oils heat up their viscosity index is same: 50. When both oils are cold, the oil which has viscosity index 10 is thinner than the oil which has viscosity index 20 (thicker). now decide which is good for your bike. if you stay in South India where most of the time hot, you can go for 20w50. If you stay in North India, say, Delhi, where climate goes to extremities (too cold or too hot), go for 10w50.

Can I use it for hero ignitor ?

You can but this is not suitable for lower capacity bikes like Ignitor. Refer to your owner's manual for appropriate oil grade, it will either be 10W30 or 10W40.

Great oil for my 100CC Motorcycle

Perfect for my regular 100 cc motorcycle rides, running daily nonstop for up to 100 km in a 10-hour work period. Unbelievable but truly smooth clutch and gear performance. Requires an oil top-up of 350 ml after 3000 kilometers, yet still feels like a durable performer.

Perfect Upgrade for Meteor 350 Better than 15W50 I switched to Motul 7100 10W50 and it is far superior to the stock 15W50 liquid gun, especially for city riding. The gear shifting is now effortless—just a light touch and it glides into next gear. The engine clutter has reduced significantly, making the pure exhaust thump much more audible I have also used 15W50 motul 5100 and 300V, but motul 7100 is best

Good product for this price point.

I ordered three engine oils from Motul for my Pulsar 150 and Himalayan BS4 bikes. The oil is really good. The price was also very low. My two bikes are giving great performance. I am happy.

Sono anni che lo uso sulle mie moto e mi sono sempre trovato bene, quando lo tolgo dopo 7-8.000 km conserva ancora il suo colore rosso (ovviamente molto più scuro) e si vede che potrebbe farne almeno altrettanti senza problemi... Ottimo anche con frizione/cambio e con avviamenti al freddo dell'inverno Padano.
