Dansko Women's Celeste

I bought a pair of these shoes 18months ago after researching footwear for my debilitating plantar fasciitis. They feel somewhat roomy for the size that I normally am but after contacting Dansko they advised that that is the way they are supposed to fit. Have to wear thicker socks with these so that the feet don't slide around in them; which is a HUGE determining factor as to how comfortable these shoes actually can be. Used them for the whole wet winter in Melbourne and even used them for hiking, never had a single issue with them. They are definitely water resistant and have kept my feet comfy and warm throughout. I only have these shoes for winter and easily walk in them for 5-10kms on a daily basis without any issues. I even forgot that I suffer from plantar fasciitis till it was summer and took out some of my old sandals and flip-flops! I work in a hospital and have to stand for hours doing rounds etc, and these hold up well and I have no leg fatigue at the end of the day. They may look clunky with some outfits but for me, comfort and being pain-free trumps it all. My first pair were black and just bought these browns ones as a second pair. The soles and leather of the first pair are still holding up really well with only minimal signs of wear. Highly recommend these shoes for anyone who has issues with palntar fasciitis.

Wow, I just received my shoes and my initial impression is that these are good quality shoes. I am very pleased as I take the shoes out of the box and put them on my feet, these are comfortable. Also, not only are they nice looking with attention to the detailed design and stitching but they are not even in the same league as other name brand shoes that others have recommended for people with foot problems as far as the fit and feel of the shoe. I'm impressed. I wish I would have already invested in dasko shoes other than in the nurse clogs I already have -which are also awesome in quality and comfort. I ordered the same size 39 as I wear in the Dansko Clogs and it is a good fit. These shoes the Dansko Celeste slip on feel as if they are truly custom made for human feet and my feet. I am thankful for these shoes, someone has definitely put in the hard work of designing and developing a good shoe for a change with an obvious attention to fit, comfort, style and detailed quality. Thankful. Thank You to all those who make and distribute these shoes- they work hard and do a good job.

Have fallen in love with these shoes. I have always loved wearing Dansko working as a nurse. The traditional style Dansko/Sanita shoes always make my already big size 11 look bigger than they are and always seem too short and too wide no matter what size I get, as if the sizes just get wider, but not longer. But even with the bad fits of the Dankos I still wore them because they still didn't cause me excess pain, and when I wear something other than Dansko, I tend to have a lot calf fatigue and pain after work. Plus I don't like the heels on the regular Dansko, because I don't need the height and I frequently literally run at work and am scared I will fall. When I saw these, I knew I had to try them. Have worn them everyday at work since I got them. Obviously they are not the most stylish shoes for everyday wear, but they so comfortable that I have even been wearing them nearly everyday outside of work too. It is so hard for me to find comfortable shoes and that look somewhat stylish and these are definitely the ones. I wear them with scrubs at work and jeans at home.

I love these shoes! They are the pair I always want to wear now. I was nervous to buy shoes online because I have trouble finding shoes that fit even in shoe stores. But I decided to chance it and it worked out great.There seems to be some industry variation for what constitutes a size 38. Sometimes they fit me perfectly (I'm between a 7 1/2 and an 8) and sometimes they are too small. So I'm guessing these are on the big side for a 38 because they are perfect for me.My feet are never tired when I wear them and they seem to give good enough support that my knees, hips, and back are tolerating long walks better, too. They do not feel heavy to me when I'm wearing them. Also, the color is neutral enough that I feel okay wearing them with a wide variety of outfits. These are definitely keepers.

Wonderful shoes! This is my first product review because I am inspired to let others know how great these shoes were right out of the box. I am a chef and on my feet for 8+ hours a day. I've worn Dansko clogs for years for work and non-work, but the clog style is not great for walking in - best for standing. I do lots of walking and standing at work. And I've injured my ankles multiple times over the years because the clogs tend to be unstable (heel too high and my foot too loose in the clog).I wore these Danskos straight out of the box to work and was so thrilled with the comfort! The were very comfortable to stand in AND to walk in. They look great - got lots of compliments. And the toe bed was not tight - it loosened up perfectly for comfort. I kept remarking to my co-worker how I felt like I was wearing slippers!

These shoes are as awesome as I expected them to be. I bought them a couple of weeks before our trip to New Orleans. We were planning to park our car once at the hotel and walk for 4 days before ever getting back in the car. So, I needed shoes that would carry me through the streets of the French Market and beyond comfortably. I have plantar fasciitis, so I am very cautious about what shoes I purchase. I have purchased Dansko in the past and knew they were more than likely a good choice.When my shoes arrived, I promptly put them on with socks and took the dogs for our evening walk. It was as though we were already old friends. I wore them every day before the trip, and every day of the trip in perfect comfort and support. I am so glad I bought these!

Non a caso avevo scelto la Dansko, che come marca mi ha sempre soddisfatto. Anche questa volta le aspettative sono state appagate. Le scarpe sono comode, belle, di qualità. Un affarissimo per i 58 euro che costavano. L'unico neo il venditore (ShoeMetro) che nonostante io abbia comprato due paia di scarpe insieme mi ha fatto pagare la spedizione due volte.
