First day my son used these skates the front wheels came off left skate
I ordered these skates for my son (age7) for Christmas. He was so excited to learn and after 30 mins of practice he fell forward and the two front wheels broke completely off his left skate. I am very disappointed in how cheaply these are made and glad he was not injured.

Sizing OK, bearings are terrible.
I'm OK with the overall construction of the skates. The bearings are simply terrible though. The wheels do not roll freely. The wheels do move, but they're missing the "roller" function of roller skate. I happen to have other bearings, but if you need to buy separate bearings (16 total) they can be fairly expensive.

Poor quality, wrong color
We ordered this product for my step-son's 8th birthday based on the great reviews, and wanting a skate that would grow with him. First, I was surprised when the skates showed up and were red and grey, not blue and black, and in a dented and scratched box. Then, when the kids were all taking turns using them at the birthday party the front wheels on one skate kept sliding out of place and rotating about 30 degrees to the side, causing the kids to fall. I play roller derby and so I have good skates and skate tools, so we used one of my tools to take the truck off the skate and try to figure out why the wheels kept rotating. It seems that there is a little peg that fits into a socket and it wasn't fit in there right. Luckily we were able to fix it for now, hoping it stays fixed. Other than that, the skates seem to fit well... a little strange though, we ordered the size large which is listed as sized 2-4 but these skates say adjustable sizes 3-6, which is good for us since he is currently a size 3 anyways. The kids all say the skates are comfortable.

These are well made And Way Easy to pull on and off- Oh I would have loved these when I was a girl- used to take forever to lace them. My 7 year old loves them and does not mind falling all over the place like Scooby Doo on ice skates (or is it the waiter slipping on a banana peel?)! And it's fun to watch! Helmet and knee/elbow protection recommended. We have not left the house yet- so I give 3 stars until we get to try them outside. I see no mention anywhere whether these are indoor or outdoor- hope we won't be ruining them if we take them outside.
