Leider für unseren Mehrkatzenhaushalt völlig ungeeignet, möchte man es nicht jeden Tag komplett reinigen: sollte unsere bisherigen Tös ergänzen und ggf. irgendwann ersetzen, doch entgegen der Bescheibung müffelt es einfach hundserbärmlich und fliegt bereits nach einer halben Woche Probezeit raus, denn bis es dann nach der Reinigung getrocknet ist, vergeht auch einfach zu viel Zeit.Schade, der Gedanke war nett.

Acabo de instalarlo, no puedo decir si me gusta o no pero si es necesaria una toallita absorvente al menos podría traer una para empezar a utilizar el producto. Pediré las toallitas pero de momento no lo puedo utilizar

I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering the Cateco odour-proof litter box, but I am really happy with my purchase. This product is high quality and comes with materials to help you understand how it works, as well as customer support for any issues you may encounter. My cat didn't have any problem adjusting to it, even though she had been using another cat box design for years. I was worried that she wouldn't be able to successfully make the switch, but it hasn't been a problem. The cat box does sit up a bit higher than some cat boxes because of the aerating tray underneath, so kittens may have a harder time getting into the cat box (or recognizing that this is the cat box). This shouldn't be a problem with adult cats however. I would recommend this project to cat owners. It does seem to keep odours under control as well.

****Update- We've used this box for a couple of months now and still love it. I wanted to share my fix for the problem of the top portion easily seperating from the bottom air circulation part and my crazy litter slinging cat. I turned a clear sterilite tub onto its side and sat the litter box in it and then the open part of the tub faces the wall. The cat has room to climb in by the wall. The tub keeps the litter from flying all over the room. And I just grab the side of the tub to pick the whole thing up and move it to vacuum or scoop. Cheap and easy fix. In regards to Smartcat litter, I'm switching once again. Worked great and I liked the sort of "hay during harvest time smell" to begin with, but I like it less and less as time goes on. Plus, does let some tiny clumps separate from the big clump from time to time and that just grosses me out.****We've had this litter box in use for about 10 days now. It isn't perfect, but it's by far the best we've found for odor control and I think we've tried every box and litter combination there is! We use this box with a clumping litter called Smartcat Litter that is made of grass. It has the consistency of coarse sand. Since changing to this box and litter, we have had ZERO lingering odor. When the cat poops, we can still smell it if we're home of course, but if we aren't home, the odor is gone by the time we arrive. We have always scooped every day to every other day, but in the past we could still smell a faint lingering odor even with jumping through all kinds of hoops like odor eliminating liners, additives, and frequent change of entire litter. With this box and the Smartcat Litter there is literally no odor unless the cat has just pooped. The box is kept in a small and frequently used bathroom, but if you didn't see the box, you would not know that it is in there. Truly amazing.This unique design is an awesome concept with great execution and quality materials. The airflow through the box makes odors virtually non-existent once the initial olfactory assault of "oh geez, the cat is pooping" is gone...and that is for poop. We haven't had a single whiff of a smell from urine.My one suggestion for improvement for future models is to add higher sides or perhaps steps that run along the side into an opening like a popular dome litter box out there. My kitten digs and covers aggressively! She slings litter all over the place. I rigged up my own high sides for this box. Looks crazy now, but it is one step closer to perfect.Also...stellar customer care! I emailed the company to ask a few questions about my previous litter and box as compared to their system. I was shocked to receive a very thorough, personal, and caring response within 24 hours on questions that weren't even about their product. And no hard sell either. Using lessons learned during the developmental phase for the Cateco Self-drying litter box, the company representative brainstormed ideas to potentially improve what I was already using for a more satisfactory outcome. I sent a thank you and received another response saying basically, "we're happy to help whether you use our system or not." Amazing!!! The genuine caring attitude from the company was enough to persuade me to give this box a try. I am happy I did.At this point, I can't see any reason why I would ever switch again-unless these guys come out with a high side or top entry model. Until then the remarkable odor control by far offsets the minor inconvenience of having to add funky rigged high sides to prevent scattered litter. Try Cateco. Follow the directions. Be glad you did. I really believe this is the next big thing in litter boxes. They built a better litter box! Cool. Maybe they'll tackle the mousetrap next.

I wish I didn't just believe the hype and buy 2 of these for my cat family.On the surface this litter box seems great. Advertised as good odor control, very efficient with litter because of the 2 compartments, etcAsk yourself if any litter box that isn't self cleaning is worth $50. The company purposely separates the whole package into a bunch of parts that you have to buy separately like the extension for $50 which is just ridiculousLastly, cleaning is an absolute nightmare, especially the bottom part. Impossible to clean without getting litter all over the place.Definitely my worst purchase from amazon that I wish I never bought. I home someone else reading this can save their hard earned cash and just buy a regular $10-$20 litter box from their local pet store or supermarket.
