Okay depending on what it’s for
I was unable to use the buckle because there was no way for me to thread the belt through it as I was using a 4 point harness for a handicapped child. The red buckle works well for what I need it for. I would be better if there was an easier way to thread the belt through the buckle without having to disassemble everything.

Clip works red clip not so much
I like the clip. Works great and functions just fine and my little one can't figure out how to unbuckle it which is why we purchased this. The red clip is confusing to me, I didn't receive instructions so I'm left to figure it out alone which is disappointing because in the picture it looks like it clips on the belts to prevent baby from escaping but I can't seem to get both belts in it.

Secure, easy to release, perfect fit
This buckle is a replacement I used for my son's convertable carseat. It was easy to put on the car seat and fits perfectly. It is a different design but the same size as the old one. It snaps together very securely but is also very simple from the push of a button to release. I. Very happy with it. The red lock is difficult to snap around the buckle but does work well for it's purpose.

Good replacement
I have a Britax Frontier that I had taken the belts and clip off of when my son grew to size to use the seat as a booster. I now needed to transition my youngest into a different seat and decided to switch him to the Frontier and my older son to a backless booster. When I went to put the harness back onto the car seat I couldn't find the chest clip. This clip was easy to put on the belts and works great each day. Have no issues or concerns with it at all.

Not ideal for an infant seat
Works as a replacement for the chest harness that broke on my older baby's car seat but it is really wide and would not work for a small baby. I would not recommend it for a replacement an infant.

Easy to install but hard to push button
Easy to install and seems very durable, but hard to push the button to release the buckle, at least compared to the Britax one I had. Hoping it will become easier to release the more we use it.

Tough clip to unclip
It is a little difficult to unclip the chest clip, but it still works great.

One item worked great but not the other
The black clip worked great. The red clip won't close with belt in there. But main need was for the harness clip
