My experience
I have been wearing Zetra by Rollerblade which has the PFS progressive fit system size 12 men's. I have had theses for a year and decided to move to a more advanced skate, so I went with the K2 Radical's.* The first thing I found out was a 100mm wheel takes some push to get it going. Its like putting a 10 speed bike in a high gear and taking off, its fun once u get it going but hard to get there.* A second thing I found is when you articulate movement where you lean heavy right or left I get some movement that doesn't feel natural.* The third thing I have been the most disappointed about is that I to have more foot movement in the boot and a lot of pain to my feet. I skated the same distance as my Zetra's 4 Mile ), but I usually never have to stop more than 2 times. With the Radical's I must stop 5 to 6 times because of pain. I even have to get total off the skates to relieve my foot pain.* General observation I feel like when trimming the boot and making it loose is a step back in technology. It's like having a ski boot and binding and moving to a cross-country ski while doing downhill. Anyway this is just my experience- comfort is no where close to the cheaper skate Zetra. If I find any improvements I will be sure to post an updated review. It could just be that I need to build ankle strength, but it sure feels like my feet. I moved my insoles from my Rollerblades, to the K2"s, but it didn't fix my problem, it and only improved them a little bit. I can skate while leaving my Zetra's unlatched and they feel much better than the K2's latched. I wear a size 11 shoe and my Zetra's are size 12 and do not quite fit. The Radicals are 11 ½ but fill the same as the 12s. Maybe I can get them fitted! Oh one more thing I have to unlace and lace everytime keeping me from my skating I like to get going. I don't have to ever unlace the Zetra Maybe I can give a better review in a few weeks ,I've only worn the Radicals 3 times maybe I have the wrong skate fore what I like .My attempt was to get an intermediate skate that was faster but comfortable and so far it's a bust. If I was doing a marathon I would put on my old skates instead of these* I don't have a problem stopping other than it take more time. I use a snow plow technique like when u slow down ski's, then I do a S turn to a stop .Who new Inline skates could be so technical and fun. FYI The Radical's skates look totally coolFreddie
