It's a good product against such price. If you can able to root it then it capable to upgrade Android OS and you can easily connect external USB DVD drive. Yes Kodi is inbuilt and it can handle all available file format without jolt. But warranty sticker on IR receiver for remote make the remote sticky. The best way to get digital sound connect your home theatre receiver thru TOSLINK/SPDIF port if you don't have a TOSLINK optical port in your amplifier, only have COAXIAL/SPDIF copper digital port use a TOSLINK TO COAXIAL CONVERTER, hence both copper and optical cable carry digital signal, so no loss in signal, remember tune your receiver to coax mode. The other way to connect thru RCA av out supplied cable to AUX IN port at amplifier. Device is good.It supports external hard disk and USB camera/mouse(mouse is supported via first USB port). Interface is nice and easy to use. It doesn't support Google Duo video calling app as it gets crash and device restarts. Skype text only works, vedio or audio not proper with wired/wireless headset.Can watch hotstar /jio play apps in full screen using screen orientation app downloaded from playstoreIt supports Bluetooth headset but range is short due to Bluetooth version 2.1

Worst quality. It has damaged mother board of my lED TV. Even my computer crashed. Don't buy this worthless chinese product.

It's a value for money product. Good quality & easy to use. No heating problem at all. The main problem is with screen casting. Too much lagging. Not good for that. Time setting will change while next booting. I think it has some glitches in android or hardware itself. Remote control does not have soft touch switches. Except that all other features are excellent and handy. With 2Gb RAM & 16 Gb inbuilt storage apps working nicely. Not hanging at all. 4k video rendering is superb. It can handle almost all of the audio & video formats without out any problem. Audio quality is nice. Inbuilt KODI player is good too. Install MX Player and use HW+ rendering. Then video clarity looks perfect. I checked VLC player too. No problem at all. Wifi & internet connectivity is good. Have to update all inbuilt apps including google play store and install suitable codec for audio & video formats. Then this product works similarly as a premium one. I am totally satisfied with the product.

Enjoy the product guys. It’s really a worth investment coz it provides that much wide range of infotainment. Android phones screen cast , Apple airplay , foreign channels telecast for free of costs are the best part you would enjoy in this. Apart from that, it’s a delightful gift for web series lovers. TY. This is good one to watch movies. Very small unit. It support 2TB harddisk. Pic attached. Draw backs are pathetic remote, WiFi not up to the mark, price is also higher. OK if we get below 3k. I am using this product from last Oct-17

I was always curious about a Smart TV Box Which CAN PLAY HEVC/ X265 files at ease. After reading many good reviews I decided to buy the Cubetek 4K box. Rockchip RK 3229 is Superb, I have never used a Amalogic S905 or 905X so can't tell about difference. Here are The Pros & Cons:-Pros:-1) Plays ANY HEVC files with ease, Also 10bit supported, I have tested with 4K video, NO LAG !!!2) Youtube works very well, No Lag when streaming. I have tested with Jio-FI.3) 60 FPS videos working fine, In HTPC these videos lag sometimes.4) Android 6.0 is installed, Kodi Krypton 17.3 is installed.5) WIFI 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth available.6) Didn't Even Hang or Crash a single time Even after 5-6 Hrs of Continuous Play.Cons: 1) Wifi is NOT Dual Band.Verdict:In this budget, I think you can't find any better Android Box, Previously I thought about buying MI BOX which costs double its price, but I gave it a try, & trust me I'm NOT Disappointed !
