Great starter for LS swaps!!!!
I would highly recommend the starter with different header options on LS swap applications. I have never had a starter for a swap fits so well and be able to have endless articulation. I’ll be using these on all my customers LS swaps for now on doubt about it. High quality and a actual print out included with the starter of it being tested individually.

Works great on Datsun LS3/T56 Swap
First off for the rare few that own a Datsun 240/280z LS Swap with CX Racing Headers, this starter WILL clear. You have to route your wiring in-between the block and start and had to clock it a hair to get it to clear the CP Sensor tight fit but will work. [See pictures]Car starts on the first turn now, where as before it would act like a had a dying battery. Awesome & powerful Starter! worth EVERY bean.

Too bulky. Made in the USA - YEA!
2011 Chevy Caprice, LS2. Engine was rebuilt with a little higher compression making the stock starter struggle. This unit by powermaster would have solved my problem, but because of the unit's size, the starter would just not clear all of the necessary obstacles, even with the adjustable clocking. A 1/4 of an inch would have made the difference. Shame, I had to send it back.

This is a must if you have a unique mounting situation. It can be clocked in any position.

Well built lots of power

Wouldn't work for me.
Brought this for my LS 6.0. It had to be clocked 180 degrees to work with Hooker exhaust manifolds and that placed the electrical connections on the block side rendering them inaccessible. I installed & tested this on the engine stand & it would not fully disengage from the flywheel at times.

Fits and works well
I bought this starter for my ls2 swap in an old corvette, if it didn’t have the rotating mount it would be impossible to fit. That’s why I choose this starter and for the torque to turn over my high compression engine. Happy overall.
