Organic Herbal Bath Powder, 200g

My kids and I , we have been using it since 3 years now, its a wonderful product. For someone like me, who easily gets skin allergies and rashes,...this powder has worked like a miracle. My younger son too, who is 2 n half years old, often gets those nasty wounds,rashes and insect bites whenever he plays in the sand or outdoor, which becomes severe and extremely itchy and looks very ugly and painful , so once back from play area, while bathing i apply this paste on his body and this has helped him alot, as the paste reduces itching and pain and the wounds heal faster within a day or 2 and no marks at all. All I can say is that it has saved mine as well my kids skin from those nasty marks. And it also improves complexion and clears the skin.

Very aromatic. It has a very soft texture. I wish the powder was bit coarse. It cannot be used as a scrub. Doesn't leave skin dry. A good alternative to soaps.

(Too Long Review Alert !) “Is this a replacement for soap / body-wash ?” Practically, NO. Reasons: 1. If you’ve an oily skin, this cannot effectively remove the excess oil / dirt as soap does. 2. Considering cost and amount, it acts best as an assisting agent (and a great face pack). “How to use it ?” Well, everyone on his/her own, this is what I did… 1) It is in the form of a fine powder, so take a mug (where you can easily access the bottom with your palm), take 10-15 grams of powder, mix it with rosewater Khadi Natural Rose Water, 210ml (Pack of 2) or warm water. 2) The amount of water added, depends on the viscosity you require. For body wash, add more water and keep it more thick for a facepack. 3) Apply all over (like a less viscous oil), leave it for 10-15 minutes (if you are prone to cold easily, not a good idea :P ) 4) Wash it off. It is always better to take a quick hot water shower BEFORE using this, to open the skin pours. Even use a mild soap to remove dirt / oil on skin. It makes NO sense to use soap AFTER using a herbal bath powder. “Is it worth it ?” YES. Especially if you live in an urban jungle where you do not have easy access to all the herbs. If you HAVE, then make your own bath powder; which would be much more inexpensive (and potent). During use, it left a strong scent of crushed hibiscus leaves. It doesn’t have specific smell once you wash it off. Does not dry your skin like soap. Not a practical item to wash hair (personal opinion). Has gentle exfoliating / scrubbing properties (use it as a thick paste for that). Transfer the whole powder to an air-tight container, once opened. Might last 15-20 baths if used as described above. The whole process it time consuming :D So make sure you’ve half an hour to spend for the ordeal. Skin does feel quite different (hydrated ? smooth ? I can't put a finger on it) Really considering to gather some herbs (after researching, you do not want to have a severe allergy; do you ?) and make my own version of this. Have a few assisting links online (google is your buddy). Verdict : Worth the amount paid.

Excellent product. Feels totally natural as claimed. I am a big fan of traditional Indian products and was looking for a bath powder that is chemical free (good for the skin and good for the environment!) and not over-priced. Found this on Amazon. Has all the ingredients that I was looking for. I store it in a container and take a little bit to use as face and body scrub in the shower. I usually oil my face before a shower. This powder is gentle, yet cleanses well. Even sweat and makeup is gone. Makes the skin soft and cools it down. Loving it and will be reordering soon.

I am using this from past more than 5 years had previously tried multiple bath powders none of them could compete this. Very very good product.

Very bad experience. I usually do not use herbal bath powder. I ordered from this company and to my disappointment its full of grain beetles. Although this powder claims to contain neem powder i dont understand how did the beetles survive in it. Neem is supposed to keep grain beetles out from storage. People shoyld stop looting others in the name of organic. I regret buying this. Lux toilet soap was much better than this

The herbal bath powder smells great and is a great product for a facepack but not for a bath powder. When you mix it with water or rose water it becomes like multani mitti and is good to use as a facepack rather than a bath powder. 1 star for scrub as there is no scrub effect. 1 star for packing as some powder was loose on top of the lid and the lid was packed with a sticky polythene cover.
