Cuisinart MultiClad Pro 8" stainless steel pan
This pan has definitely met my expectations. It is a very nice looking pan and works great! I cooked some scrambled eggs in it to test for non-stick. It preformed great. As good as my 5 ply Misen 12". The edges are sealed so definitely dishwasher safe. As a 3-ply pan it warms up very fast compared to a 5-ply pan. I actually over heated it warming it to cook the eggs. It turned a beautiful golden color lol. I left it off the heat waited 2 minutes and added the high heat cooking oil and a half a tablespoon of butter and the eggs cooked perfectly and no stik. I hand washed it and it was as easy as any non-stick to clean. I used Bar keepers friend to clean it and bring it back to new looking. All in all a great pan to cook eggs in at a very reasonable price.

Definitely recommend
This is a must buy for home cooks. I initially didn’t like stainless steel pans at all because the food sticks. However, after I learned the proper technique, I now prefer to use this stainless steel pan for any searing job and also for scrambled eggs. See that attached video where I easily seared scallops without getting them stuck, and I got perfect searing results. Also, the pan is easy to clean with the regular dishwasher soap. I use a plastic brush. I also put it in the dishwasher sometimes but it could leave some residue. If there is residue then it can be easily cleaned with a little bit of vinegar and baking soda. The pan feels sturdy and well built. Definitely recommend for the price.

I liked it so much that I bought another one
I have 3 Multiclad Pro frying pans. This is my second 8” frying pan. Great size for what I cook. I’ve used them every day for the past year. There was a learning curve to cooking with stainless steel but once learned you can cook just about anything without it sticking. I really like the height of the sides, helps to contain food and splatters. The handle gives a very good grip when pouring. The weight and quality is as good as the more expensive brands. I have been very happy with the quality of the entire Multiclad Pro line of cookware.

Great egg pan.
Ecellent little pan. I bought it for eggs basically. You can fit 4 easily. There was a small learning curve but after having carbon steel and cast iron it's basically the same. I like this one better now than the others less cleaning when your done. I couldnt gauge my temperature at first so I used an infrared temperature sensor. For me at 250 deg. a quick shot of spray avocado oil. Followed 1/2 to 1 tbsp. butter. It will have a small sizzle at around 250 deg. when the butter stops foaming add your eggs. Covered if making over easy. DO NOT touch them until you see the edges start to bubble up. Your eggs are starting to realese now. You can slowly start checking with your spatula or shake the pan, they will slide. If they stick your temp was too high or your eggs were too cold. I crack the shell and let them sit in a bowl while I'm prepping and warming the pan, this is very important. Hash browns also will stick if frozen. Let them warm to room temp and covered them on low until they release naturally! And they will practice with one egg. Ommelletes are more forgiving BTW. My carbon steel DB and my cast iron are to much maintanance for what its worth.

Beautiful high-quality skillet
I really love this beautiful looking 8" frying pan. Works great and comes out of the dishwasher still looking brand new! I am subtracting one star, however, because I was slightly deceived by their description. It says "Tight-fitting stainless steel cover", and shows a photo of it. But it DOES NOT come with any cover. So, in case you are wondering about this.. nope, no lid. I still use it, but will search for another one that does come with a lid.

Excellent pan!
We were looking for a good stainless steel 8” fry pan, and the leader, the All-clad 3-ply 18/10 SS product is just a little too expensive for us, so Cuisinart seemed to offer good quality stainless at the lower price point (while still being 3-ply and at least 18/8 SS. That said, Cuisinart appears to offer a few choices of product lines. Other than price, I could not assess the quality and design of the pans, so I bought the three choices offered: the ‘Cuisinart MultiClad Pro 8-inch’ (about $30), the ‘Cuisinart Professional Stainless Skillet, 8-Inch’, (about $23) and the ‘Cuisinart 722-20 8-Inch Chef's-Classic-Stainless-Cookware-Collection, 8" (at about $21), Open Skillet’. The Professional and the Classic pans appear to be approximately the same build quality, except the handle of the Professional is more substantial ergonomically (more comfortable), and of a hollow construction - keeping it lightweight. The Classic handle was more of a cast or pressed bar (still pretty good compared to many other pans I have ever held), but clearly the Professional has an advantage in this aspect. The pan ‘build’ of these two pans appears to be a thinner gauge stainless (compared to the MultiClad), with an aluminum / stainless ply bottom somehow bonded to the bottom (a common construction of pan I observe - probably a more economical build). The Multiclad pan is a seamless, contiguous molded or pressed shape; the sides are clearly thicker than the other two. The weights of the pans I measured to be 24.2oz for the 'Professional’, 21.2oz for the Classic, and 29.6oz for the MultiClad. Since I only kept the Multiclad, I only tried cooking with this model, and it’s excellent. i think all three pans are great, well-made pans (for the money), but clearly the Multiclad is the best one.

Excellent pan for the money
Really nice quality stainless steel pan for the price. Fully clad non-disk style pan with rolled edges and a riveted handle. Checks all the boxes for quality! I have a 12" SS pan from another brand and wanted something more reasonable for cooking breakfast. The 8" is perfect for my needs. After a 5 minute preheat over low heat and a small knob of butter my eggs slide right out like it's teflon. I like to toast bread while preheating and the even heat makes for picture perfect toast as a bonus. A quick rinse with hot water and the pan looks brand new. Always preheat for best results, hot pan/cold fat is the key to nonstick stainless steel cooking.

I have purchased a range of stainless steel pans from reputable brands including Made In (5 ply), Demeyere (Proline 7 Ply ), Le Creuset (both their Classic and Signature pans), Ninja (Everclad), and ProCook (Signature). This is my first Cuisinart pan, and I’m already very impressed with its quality and sturdiness. Having owned and tried multiple stainless steel pans across a range of brands and price points, this 8-inch pan stands out immediately. At around £35, it feels too well to be true. The construction is solid, and for anyone familiar with using stainless steel pans, it performs beautifully. Out of all the pans I own - if I had to pick one - I'd pick to have this in the full 12-piece set, no questions asked. The combination of price, build, and performance makes it a standout in its category. Cons: If I really need to knit pick on something then I'd say it's slightly (ever so slightly) on the heavier side, though nowhere near the heft of cast iron or Demeyere Proline pans. This is minor and doesn’t affect usability. For the thickness it is expected and easily over seeable espeically if you don't own as many pans as me to compare it to. It terms of stickiness, cooking, and burtness, it works great. For any review that complain about these, they just lack the skill and knowledge. Remember SS pans require some learning, but once you get use to it, it is the best type of pans you will come across which are easy to clean, cook with and maintain effortlessly.

Pros: good design for the skillet, excellent design for the handle, light weight (although this can be considered a disadvantage as usually for stainless steel the heavier the better), handle doesn’t heat, when seasoned well, it is non-stick, and makes great steak and fish. Cons: the grade of the stainless steel isn’t mentioned anywhere, I am not sure if it is 18/10, I even sent to the company and asked them but they didn’t reply, color changed on the first use, and after second use it got stained in both inner and outer surfaces, the stains in the inner surface was almost removed by cleaning with metallic dish-washing wire and vinger, but left scratches on it, whereas I failed to clean the outer surface

I bought the 12 inch and the 8 inch pans about a year ago and no problem! I love the way they look. I am reading reviews and people complaining about warping and the food sticks, etc. etc. and yes food could stick if you do not cook at the right temperature. It also depends on the type of stove you have. I can fry an egg at the right temperature, and it will not stick if I am careful to ut enough oil and not to have the pan too hot. I have an induction stove and it generally gets really hot on P , so when I am frying an egg I have to be careful and I do not use the max temperature , but a bit less. You just gotta learn how to cook with it and what temperature to use. There were a couple of times that my food stick to the pan in the beginning, but I was by the stove so I removed right away from the heat and cleaned with SOS pads and no problem. I had not experienced any warping with any of mine. I am attaching a couple of pictures of my pans after one year of using them every other day, you just gotta be careful, these models are expensive pots and pans and you just need to learn what can you do and not do with them. I just bought my 10 inch pan to replace another Cuisinart teflon pan which I bought after these and is peeling bad. I really love them, but again you just gotta learn to cook with them and take care of them. Another thing to consider is Cuisinart has other stainless steel models that are not the same quality as this model (MCP22) that are cheaper and do warp and you get spots after a couple of uses. I have read lots of reviews and it seems that it is not just the brand but the quality you buy. You get what you pay for.
