Clarks Men's Ryerson Dale Boot

Ordered my normal size and they didn't fit right, had to reorder to the smaller size because they were much to long. However, this caused a bit narrower shoe; wish I had gotten the wide. They are a very nice boot, very durable, and go well with everything you could wear. Waterproof and easy to buff out any scuffs. Get multiple complements from those who see them. I have flat feet, and these are not very comfortable for excessive walking due to a little narrower foot bed than expected once my feet start to swell. My friend borrowed them (yea, guys can borrow shoes, too!) and has a little more arch and said they were wonderful, for your reference. I will continue wearing them for events, just not if I expect to be doing a lot of walking.

I bought these in February of 2016 & have waited until now May of 2016 to write this review because I wanted to make sure to have used them a lot before writing a review.And my conclusion is that they're EXCELLENT!!! I've used them to do everything that I usually do in my normal day from driving, walking, shopping or just leaving the car home & taking the bus or a taxi & they've not disappointed.No break in period. They fit as they're supposed to & I'm very pleased with them.I can wear them with semi casual clothes & they look great or with jeans and a T shirt & they also look very good.I highly recommend them.

These boots are extremely comfortable. For me, they seem a little large on the sizing. The water proof aspect is pretty good. The soles have good traction in low temperatures (-10F to 0"F) on packed snow and ice, unlike some boots that become like ice skates in low temperatures. The trade off of good low temperature performance is the soles aren't as durable. The pair I bought lasted 8 months before the soles wore through into the air pockets in the bottom of the boot. The boot have around 800 miles of walking on them. The uppers have worn very well. I like the boots well enough that I purchased additional pairs.

I like them so far. I have clarks boots from the past that I wore until the rubber soles started to disintegrate. I love how they fit and feel. I wished I could fix them but I couldnt so I bought these. The leather seems like it will last. The insoles are not as supple as I expected but should improve as they break in.

Just what I was looking for. I needed something I could wear in poor weather conditions, but also wanted something close to a dress boot. This is the perfect blend of those two and I am happy to have picked these.Also, most boots give blisters when first worn, these seem to be breaking in without that issue.

Boots tend to run a bit larger than shoes, as do these. Size 12M might be a bit long but not too wide. I liked that they are medium weight and flexible, but firm. Arch is not at all pronounced, so you may want to use your own insole insert if that is what you prefer. You may experience some ankle rub, which is common with boots of this height.

I bought it for a trip to UK for 11 days with 36 degrees F. We were walking non stop and this keep my husband very warm and he said it was very comfortable. The boots are exactly as shown on the picture. We order the color Brown Tumble.

After less then 1 year of purchase & only wearing these boots during the fall season, the seam area of stitching on the right boot is pulling away. Clarks use to be better made for quality. Not impressed. Do not recommend buying due to quality control issue for the crafting of these boots.
