I had 5 cuts in the elastic which made me lose about 5 of the lengths i needed....about $25 worth as I sell each item I make for $5..I would love to buy another reel or even a bigger one, but if it is not a continues piece it kind of wastes my money

I purchased this cord as I was developing some bracelets that I wanted to use elastic cord, however this cord is rather irregular in appearance, it has a "wavy" look that won't work for my purposes - although I will use what I bought to replace the stretch cord on my photo bag, camping gear and on my bike packs, as it is perfectly useful in those applications. Just a FYI for those looking for a more finished product.

When one buys a product "by the spool" by the bolt, or any other larger unit there is an expectation that it will be in one large piece. This came in three smaller pieces taped together on the same spool. When this happens in a fabric store, I get a discount. I saw other reviewers complain of the same problem but hoped it was an issue the seller had already fixed. I will keep the item, but only because I need it right now and can't wait for another shipment.

bought these to use as a cord to make cord stops on the bottom of a jacket, and on the edge of the hood. i got this very inexpensive packable down jacket, but because i was going hiking in a potentially windy place, i wanted to make cord stops, and not splurge a couple hundred on a jacket that already had them.this 1/8 inch diameter cord was probably a little thicker than what my lighter jacket has (which had been made with cord stops), but it worked fine. i used instructions from ehow.com, and was happy with the result. thinner cord may have also worked. end result was satisfactory, and cheaper than buying another coat. if only i could figure out what to do with the remainder of the 24-yard reel!

This item was pictured as a roll of 24-yard Black round cord, but was connected in pieces by knots, not what we paid and expected for. Shorter sections tied together is not a reek if round cord!

I was looking for an elastic string like the one that holds children's shoes together (when you first buy them). I found several on amazon, but decided to purchase this one because of the GREAT reviews. I was disappointed when I got it. Its HEAVY DUTY stuff, not the kind that I was looking for....I cant use it for ballet slippers. Soooo, if you're looking for heavy duty round elastic, this is IT! If you need something LIGHT, like the elastic in capezio ballet slippers or the elastic that holds children's shoes together at the store...this is definitely not it. Hope this helps!

I needed this to fix 20' tent poles. Works like a champ. Holds well under tension and I had accidentally not accounted for extra stress when poles are disassembled. .

The Stetchrite Cord box was worn and old. The cord was spliced in two separate places and taped together. This is horrible since it's being used for drawstrings. Received a replacement today and again, the cord is spliced and taped together. AND IT'S 3.5 YARDS SHORT!!!! Very disappointing. Will not order again.
