1000 Lavender Poppy Purple Papaver Somniferum Flower Seeds

Plant these indoors first in September in a big pot. Let the root systems get nice and big. Then plant the entire root system in an area where water can flow underneath roots and not be stagnant. On an incline is ideal. Soil should be luminous and sandy with some pebbles in the bottom. And in march they start coming up. Mine reached 4 1/2 feet tall!! Some didn’t do so well but they still bloomed. And the photos I took came out beautifully!! I dead head them for next year. Lovely product.

Looks promising I’ll let you know next summer. From what I see based on reviews of this company is very inconsistent. I received the package pretty quickly and the packaging looks pretty legit. It’s just a small ziplock bag but it has a little sticker label with a picture and name. There was no directions on how to plAnt or grow them. I see a lot of people saying that none of the seeds germinated or sprouted but I don’t think people realize that you REALLY NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR SEEDS IN THE FRIDGE OR FREEZER FOR 2 WEEKS to activate them. ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING IS you need to make sure you don’t burry the seeds just simply loosen up the soil and sprinkle the seeds in AND ITS IMPORTANT to make sure the dirt is moist before you sprinkle the seeds and do not water them until them germinate and sprout cause the seeds needs light to germinate and the roots are attracted to water so the roots will grow towards water so you want the water to be below so the roots grow down. Also, it’s important that the dirt isn’t too acidic same with the water.

I received this order and it was clear they were trying to pass off something that were not what I ordered. I had ordered poppy seeds and instead received two packets of some sort of organic filler material. What I did receive looked most like pulverized Walnut Hulls or something similar in appearance, certainly not seeds, nor did anything germinated even though it was silly foolish to have even tried.I unfortunately waited to long to correspond with this company or take any sort of action since this order of seeds was made in preparation for 2014 spring planting. When I did respond they must have checked the February date that was nearing when the A to Z coverage would end then just waited me out until it expired, saying "Sorry". Not to be trusted at all! A complete avaricious scam!

I could be doing something wrong, I don't know. I just know that this is my second batch of seeds that refuse to germinate and sprout.

I ordered 3 different types of poppies and received all plus a gift of saffron.So far only 50% of the seeds sprouted but the plants seem very hearty.I can't wait for them to bloom!

Some grew well and others did not.
