Worst purchase ever.
Failed out of the box! What terrible craftsmanship. I needed my bike operational today but now I will miss out on my family trip because of busted stator right out of the box.

Failed after only 6 months

Part failed after 500 miles. Caltric would not honor warranty!
Caltric said they did not warranty parts sold through Amazon even though their website said their stators had a 12 month warranty. Don't be fooled as I was. This is a cheap part that carries no warranty. It is not worth your while to buy or install.
