Pages are coming out as the book is loosely bound. Quality seemed good from the look of it.

The book cover had folds and I had to return and get a refund. I have reordered another one. Hope that turns out fine.

I am currently reading this outstanding work...Joeseph Campbell is interviewed about the power of Myths, The Archetypes, and Heroic Journeys from all cultures and all times. Piece this together with Dr. Jungs..."Man and his Symbols" ; "Modern Man in Search of a Soul" ; and "Memories, Dreams, and reflections ",and you have powerful guides. Joe Campbell is like an inspired guide or Shaman narrating you as you reflect on the inspirational motifs of History. Dr. Jung said that at least 2/3's of his patients past the age of forty suffered from a sense of meaninglessness."God is not a Myth, Myth is a Revelation of the Divine Nature to Man " Dr. Carl Jung

Joseph Campbell has the human condition well understood. An inspiring read. Both frightening and reassuring. Every politician ought to read this.

Till och börja med var detta ett felköp från min sida. Det är möjligt att andra läsare uppskattar boken ofantligt mycket mer än vad jag gjorde.Boken handlar kort om hur Campbell utvecklats till det geni han var. Diskussionerna som utgör merparten av boken omfattar även andra kända människor.Jag hoppades på att den skulle vara mycket mer ingående på sina håll. Just nu läser andra av hans verk och jag upplever att The Hero's Journey var oerhört ledigt skriven i förhållande till dem.Läs boken om du har ett intresse för Campbell; om inte har han skrivit mycket mer givande verk.

Campbell's approaches and analyzes mythology is really is mind widening. It's an amazing book.
