The best packaging ive ever received on any rod. Thanks ,Swansons bait & tackle. Now to the rod...its great ! Lighter with good backbone. Good responce and can handle up to 3oz lures

Love it. Returned the Abu Garcia Villain, and bought the St. Croix.Only way to go for mid-level musky gear. I expect a lifetime of service from this rod.

Yah. Have 2 years of heavy Muskie fishing on mine. Still going good. My dad buys the really expensive St. Croix's. I catch way more muskies. :-)

great for the money
Great line of musky rods, well crafted and strong. Has a respectable warranty and did not spend an arm and a leg like some of their other lines of rods. Trust St. Croix, have numerous of their other products and will continue to buy and use more.

Expected better
Great rod, poor guides. Lost three inserts, which means three repairs rust wasn't worth sending back to st Croix. Sold it in garage sale got a legend tournament. Which comes with better guides
