Yes, they write smoothly and I have never had one dry out but I write a lot so they don't get the chance to dry out. Mine run out of ink. Love them pens!

Bought these for my internship year as it is affordable. Smudge-resistant 5 stars, quality 4 stars (not all pens write the same) smoothness 3 stars (some pens are smooth some feel rough. Quality is 4 stars (for the price you can't complain). The thickness is 5 stars and versatality (it writes on paper not plastic)
