Do not position the appliance in such a way that direct sunlight will strike the surface of the mirror, as this may cause a fire. • The mirror can be used assembled or with the mirror front removed and the metal stand flipped-out to support it. • Insert the batteries as described in the section below. • Press the I/O button on the top of the mirror to switch the illumination on and off. Tips & Advice To access the storage and battery compartments • Twist the mirror front in the direction of ‘Release’ on top of the mirror then pull the front of the mirror gently away. • The storage compartments and the battery compartment can now be accessed. • To reassemble the mirror, line up the arrow on the front of the mirror with ‘Release’, then twist back into place so both ‘Lock’ arrows line up again and you hear the mirror front click back into place.
