Step2 Puppet Theater

I bought this for my daughter last Christmas. This was a great purchase for her. We have spent hours and hours of watching puppet shows and seeing how creative my five-year old is. Very sturdy and simple. I put it together Christmas Eve in 5-10 minutes. Has a light even so you can do shows at night. I love the storage in the back. We just put all the puppets in there and put it away when we are done. It is very light and my little girl can drag it from room to room. All her cousins and friends have loved doing their own shows. Cost was under $50 and included a couple of puppets with it. I bought a set of puppets to go with them, and it has been one of the best Christmas presents so far. Almost a year old and still looks new. Great purchase.

The kids have come up with things to do with this even beyond puppet shows - they were playing "Drive Thru" with it the other day. It's a big hit and although it doesn't keep them occupied for long (They are 5 and 3), they will put on a 10 minute puppet show and have a lot of fun doing it. I love the little imaginative story lines that my five year old has come up with so far (We bought some of the Melissa and Doug puppets and she likes them, but they're a little tough to handle - the ones that come with this are actually a little better for her.). Overall, I hope that this toy will continue to enhance and encourage their creativity. As she gets a little older, I will encourage her to write scripts and I think she will really enjoy doing that. If your child really likes to be the center of attention and likes to tell stories, then they will get a kick out of this toy!

Got this for a 6 and 3 yr old along with an addition pk of 1 doz puppets. To say they loved it is an understatement! Non stop entertainment. Perfect size and build for both ages. Older one said it was just like a real puppet show theater yet it still handled like a toy for the younger one to use. On a day when they are stuck indoors this is perfect.

This is a well built and stable puppet theater, just the right size for toddlers/young kids to kneel behind. Of course, grown ups can play, too, sitting on the floor behind it. It folds down so you can put it aside when it's not being used. It was our 4 year old son's main gift for Christmas and he loves it.

The theater arrived in a box that had been through hell. There were holes in the box, it was dented, and ripped. I was surprised that everything was still in the box. There were a few small scratches on the bottom of the theater but nothing too noticeable. It does seem to be able to fall over easily and if the little doors in the back are left open, it gives it a bit more leverage. My girls haven't played with it much as they got other things they were more excited about for Christmas. I would say that for the most part, we are happy with the product. It was really easy to put together and the instructions were very clear.

This puppet stage is very durable for the "active child." Even 1 year olds can climb over and through it and it STILL withstands the abuse. It will tip over with children climbing through it, but for a child who uses it correctly, it will be GREAT! The kids love it...and so does the family :-)

I had to share the feelings of joy I had as I watched my grandchildren play with the Step 2 puppet theater I purchased for them for Christmas this year. It is very durable and easy to put together. There is room in the back for the storage of the puppets and even a light to illuminate the stage. The only warning I would have is to keep the doors open in the back to avoid a tipping factor. They have spent hours since then playing with it and I am sure that it will be something that they will enjoy for years.

Bought for grandchildren. Good construction, attractive, and good interactive item for kids to express themselves. Just a little short for kids older than 5. Would definitely recommend.
