Huge amount of information and fantastic illustrations
Gail Gibbons is an amazing author who puts so much information into every book. This book contains a huge amount of information about corn. It was perfect for our Literature Circle group at school. We used it while learning about Mississippian Indians. The illustrations draw the children into the story. I love all of her books and use them frequently at school. They are must-haves.

All about corn.
Interesting book about the origins of corn. Love the color use in this book and would recommend for older children 6 and older. It's a bit long for the preschool age.
