Works great while washing my quilts

this product was great. I have a black and white bathroom rug, and the black portion bled into the white areas, leaving them an unattractive shade of gray. I used one of these sheets in a cold water wash, and presto! The rug looks like new, with the white pattern brilliant white, and the black portions deep black and sharp.

I reordered this because it works better than just the shout color grabber by itself. Although Consumer Reports and the ABC news based on CReports said it does not work, I do find it makes a difference. I watched the Ad by Carbona, the manufacturer, and saw you have to agitate the laundry long enough for the water to turn clear. Maybe CReports used a short cycle. They did not say how long they agitated the laundry. I probably overdo it, but because my skin is sensitive to soap residue, I set my washer for extra rinse cycle and also usually presoak with a half-portion of Oxyclean. I use just a "dash" of liquid Tide, probably a Tablespoon, and I use the Eco-Friendly soapless laundry ball. The dirt/color grabber cloth comes out grey and dingy on white loads and dingy color on color loads. The whites are whitest I have seen, maybe white as new, withou any chlorine bleach. And the colors appear more intense than before washing. Given that I use a frontoading energy saver machine, and that I double rinse, and all the extra soaking and pre wash, my cycles are 1.5 to 2 hours per load. No soap smell. Better quality clean. I tried using shorter wash cycles but did not get as good results. My apologies to folks who feel this is wasteful, but laundry is clean without residue, and very little soap is sent into the ecosystem. Mrs. Olmsted

used to find these in bulk on amazon for a great price after I couldn't find them at my local store. I still buy them on Amazon, but they have really gone up in price. My favorite color catcher. I throw these in with most colors and they help alot. I've ruined some clothing due to "marbeling" when these aren't in the washer and they have completely stopped that from happening. please Amazon, don't stop selling them, I can't find them anywhere else!

My new favorite laundry thing

These are amazing!!! I originally got a few as a free trial somewhere and ended up loving them so much I bought these on Amazon. I couldn't find them when I went to a few stores and had never heard of them before. But they do work really well on my whites and light colored blouses. I feel like after a while my clothes end up looking kind of dingy and they're not able to be bleached or washed in hot or warm water so I would eventually just throw them out. But I actually swear that these worked on my cream colored blouses, and the cuffs of my shirts that I continually seem to get dirty. I was amazed that you could actually see the color on the sheet after washing too. These are definitely worth it for light colored clothes and I highly recommend you give them a try.

Absolutely love these. I put them in my wash whenever I get clothes at the the thrift store or yard saling. I have no worries about the colors of dark clothes running into my lighter clothes. I was amazed when I first tried them and the colors of the clothes did not run . You just throw them into the washer and throw them away before putting them in the dryer.. Also they are unscented. I would buy them again.

This is an absolute necessity in my washing and saves many colour runs. I keep the old one in the washing machine alongside a new one and then they are both the same colour it's time to open a new one, thow away one of the old ones and start with a new one and an old one again.

I had accidently washed a dark burgundy article with a light colored one and it turned dark pink. I tossed in two of thesesheets into washer ---rewashed the light sheet. It magically came out nice and white without a trace of pink in it!!! I highly recommend this product. (I live in Canada and cannot find this product in my area.)
