if i could give this product 50 stars i totally would. for years now, i've been taking a whiteboard with me to concerts, getting to about the 4th row from the stage, and writing notes to the band and the crowd throughout the show. while that's been great, it usually has to stop once it gets dark. this board was a game-changer tho. saying that it's visible in the dark is an understatement; not only would my words be visible from 50 feet back, but the backlighting on the board provided adequate lighting to be walking around in the dark and not tripping over things. the ONE criticism i would have is that it is SLIGHTLY more difficult to erase on this board than a traditional whiteboard, so if time is a factor for your next piece, scrub hard. also they do not include an eraser, and their neon markets tend to leave ink on whatever you use to erase with. i quickly found a rag at the show and just scrubbed it like a Mac n cheese pot, and it worked great, but for parents and concert-goers alike, make sure you've got a devoted eraser/rag before a mess starts to materialize. THANK YOI CRAYOLA this product is fun, effective, durable, and the lock switch (separate from the on/off button) ensures your battery won't drain while the board is traveling. on a totally unrelated note, did anybody else catch that 4th set at magnaball on saturday??attached is a photo of me, with board, under the ferris wheel. my phone camera really didn't do the board justice.

We purchased this for our developmentally delayed 5 year old who is just now starting with pre-writing. His letters and numbers are HUGE on traditional paper, and he loves to "practice" so we were using a lot of rolls of paper for practice. This board was purchased to help reduce waste and provide a little fun for his practice writing.Once it came out of the box, however, all bets were off. All of us took turns making our own messages and folsk were already thinking about how it could be used for church dinners or signs at birthday parties. Basically, we all want one of our own now.The markers provided are very small, and odd colors, so do yourself a favor and go ahead and add a pack of the Crayola Gel Markers to your shopping cart, you'll be glad you did. I am hopeful that more primary colors will come out in the gel markers soon,Using a damp cloth does make the board white and smeared, so I purchased a pack of Windex wipes, this prevents too much saturation from a spray bottle, which might damage the electronics, and the wipes are convenient, fast and work like a charm.This is definitely a 5 star purchase (so far)- I will update if any issues arise!

I love this! I had purchased this used and, as expected, there are already some light scratches and smudges on the screen but I cleaned it with a damp towel and used a small towelette that comes with my eyeglasses and it came out well. I was going to use a see-through contact paper to prevent further scratching but when I placed it on, the surface is just glowing. Had to remove it right away. I'm use going to have to be careful using it.I initially planned to use this as a sign for when I start selling my crafts during fairs (nothing like a glowing board to attract attention, right?). But I might just use this as a reminder board on my wall. Always a plus that it can be turned into an easel with the built-in stand and that it has little holes in the back so that I can hang it on the wall via two Command Strips + Hooks.

This was such a great idea! I bought 3 of these when they were on a lightening deal so I got them for a great price! I have 3 little girls who are very creative and love to draw and do various types of art. This was perfect because my oldest daughter just got her own bedroom so this gave her the chance to put her art work on display with the cool light flashing. There are 7 different light options i believe? Some of them will just give you a migrain lol but some really do add a cool effect to the photo. I will have to find out if there are different colored pens that you can buy because my kids have already "lost" a few due to drying up or just using them up. Overall, this is a great product for any aspiring artist. I don't know that I would pay $40 for it, but $20 would be a reasonable price.

Purchased for Christmas for my 4.5 year old. She loved this thing and its a great and fun idea.However the product has several defects.1- When we put the batteries in and turned the screen on, the back of the screen was already severely scratched up.2- this board is meant for drawing- but not coloring a picture in. If there are to many "colored in photos" the side of the board without the lights will no longer appear as if it is lit up.3- This is not a no mess toy. It says to not use water on the screen and just wipe away the ink. But you must use a damp paper towel, and it takes several wipe downs to get all the residue off the screen. If your child colors to close to the edge, some of the ink can get stuck in the side in the process.If this was a $20.00 toy I would say its worth it... but for $40-45, it is overpriced for what you get.

My nephew loves this item (7 year old) and it does everything it describes. The only thing holding me back from giving it five stars is the lack of ease in erasing drawings. The item description should let you now that in order to effectively erase drawings you need to first rub the screen with a slightly damp cloth then with a dry one. This is the only way to completely clear the screen for a new drawing. The item does not come with anything to assist in clearing the screen.

Best artistic drawing material ever. Works like a charm.

Brilliant. Got for my niece and she loved it. Purchased another for my daughter as they had so much fun with it. Only downside is you have to wash and dry the screen after each picture. Great value for money x

Didn't think much to this. The colours aren't as bright as pictures, had a scratch on it and it didn't meet my expectations

My son loves this. It doesn't come with batteries tho, you need 3xAA. The only issue is it's a bit of a pain to wipe clean, smudges quite a lot but we get there in the end. Still 5 stars
