Excellent tripod but watch your fingers
This is a great tripod for ham radio antennas. I attached a pota performer to it that consists of a wolf river silver bullet coil, and a 17 foot whip. It stood up nicely without ever tipping over. The only thing I would caution about is to watch your fingers when you go to set it up and during take down. The bars on the legs will smash them pretty bad. Ask me how I know.

Sturdy and high quality build
Sturdy and well built, forewarning I almost took a finger off opening it the first time (ignorance and poor finger placement, not a fault of the product)

Works as an indoor antenna stand
When I got rid of cable I didn't want to spend more than $100 to see if I could receive over the air TV as I'm about 50 miles away from TV towers. I chose a clearstream Max-V & 15' of RG6 cable. There was a TV stand for this antenna but I didn't have a flat space for that. Instead I used an old pole light with a wood down rod on top. That worked but it was unstable and wobbly. That was 2 years ago. Yikes! I was looking for something better and saw a review for this stand with a similar antenna. This stand works much better, To boot with the pole holes and pin I can rotate the antenna slightly to reception.

Works great for Clearstream 4Max antenna
I used this stand to hold up a Clearstream 4Max antenna in front of an upstairs window inside my house. This is much higher quality and more versatile than the mount that was included with the antenna. Eventually I will relocate this setup into the attic. It is very sturdy and well-built with a matte black metal construction. The item was shipped double-boxed with additional protective paper. You can change how far apart the three legs spread, which I found useful for my smaller floor space. A zip carry bag was included. I would buy this again and highly recommend it for people looking to mount similar TV antennas.

IWorks perfectly and is Versatile and Sturdy!
This is great! Sturdy and easy to use. It has a pin to prevent unintended height slips. It is also handy when pointing directional antennas. It easily reaches 6' with no issues. Came with a nice carry bag for field day. I utilized it as a test stand for antenna building, and it is perfect. I like that you can change the footprint from wide to narrow easily. The clamps are sturdy, and the overall construction is far superior to what I expected compared to the run-of-the-mill Photography-style tripods. I have no disappointments with this what-so-ever. I will be ordering 2 to 3 more for Gain testing antennas and ARRL field day.
