Worked well for Licence and lease agreement purpose
I brought it for Maharashtra lease and licence agreement purpose. Installation and configuration to get it work for the lease and licence website was not so straight forward however, I was finally able to do it on my own. So, overall yes it met my expectation.

Has resolved Life Certificate generation problem
Has resolved Life Certificate generation problem for my father.Got setup quickly and easily in one attempt on my father's mobile. Works very well with the Jeevan Praman app.But have not yet been able to setup on desktop. The Jeevan Praman website is unable to detect it :(

I bought this for using it to register my leave & licence agreement on IGR, Maharashtra. It works and Fulfills it's purpose. Installation process is somewhat difficult. Needs careful installation. After following the all the instructions carefully I was not able to upload the thumb impression on the website of IGR Maharashtra. I tried to install it on 3-4 laptops. Then it worked on one laptop. So if you are not able to get the thumb impression on one PC then try on some other laptop or PC.

Installation and Customer service
Installation has some conditions other than system requrirements. These are not written anywhere on the manual or thier website. Only thier system engineer is aware of this. Took three weeks to get past the reception and contact the IT team to install the hardware.The customer service is the worst. The lady in reception is so reluctant to pick the phone and after numerous attempt she picks and then hangs the phone and after threatening to complaint to the management, she finally connected to relevant team to management to complaint about her and have the installation process complete.A marathon struggle after paying Rs. 3000+ to install the hardware.Product is working finally and yet to see how long it will work without any technical glitch.

Was delivered today in the morning. On opening the box that contained the device (the box was not sealed), I could see smudges on the glass, perhaps an used or previously returned device has been sent out... Shall test and update later on how well it functions.However, it worked very well... Pretty smooth and quick reading...

Jeevan Pramaan, Finger printing
For 76$ this is not cheap. But, this saved a trip for my mom to go to india to do fingerprinting for jeevan pramman purposes. Before buying it i even went through the whole cycle of getting a life certificate from NY consulate. But it still meant she wont be fingerprinted and would have to go to lot of beaurocratic steps for her to prove her identity for pension pursposes. Gave this a try, it was confusing for me to understand what needs to be done first. but I read and reread the secugen website instructions and jeevan pramaan website multiple times. Downloaded needed software, registered my product, called India secugen support and they did the magic work...only thng that i had huge problem was changing the laptop system time to local time IST time - the way my laptop was set was to be EST - after making some considerable config changes, this worked. The support team in india were great. Once that was changed and my mom was able to log in and finger print. However the change of time is only for first time.

Works with Jeevan Pranam - (with a catch)
I used this for generating life-certificate for my mom's pension. However, it does not work after downloading the RD services from their website. In order to make it work, we had to register the device with Secugen India Pvt Ltd and download their RD service. We need to send an email to [email protected] in order to get it registered. They charge Rs.649 (Rs.550 + 18% GST) for 3 years. Once registered, they send a link to download the new RD services. Once done, the device works like a charm with Jeevan Pramaan and it takes 5-10 mins to receive the life-certificate. Thank you.

Works for Jeevanpraman
I bought this for uploading fingerprints to Jeevanpraman website (Indian pensioner fingerprints) in November 2017. This product is in the list of approved devices of Jeevanpraman and it worked just fine. For the Windows OS version we had we needed special drivers and reached out to the jeevanpraman customer support and got the help (the device as such has no issues). If you need to upload your fingerprints for Digital Life Certificate in India I would recommend this device.

Works for Jeevan Praman
We needed this system to generate life certificate using Jeevan Praman while staying in the US. We followed the instructions on SecuGen India website. Sent an email for registration with the product's serial number and paid their fees (online using a US credit card). They sent us instructions on what to do - which now includes the system time change information in it as well. Downloaded the app from Jeevan Praman website and voila!, we had the life certificate in an instant.
