It is my new EDC pen.
The tools in this pen are very sharp and well machined. It is small and is so versatile. I am pleased to have it as a part of my everyday carry. Happily the pen actually writes well, so it serves it's primary function well. I was worried that I may need a pocket protector for it, because it has no lid, but you can retract the pen by unscrewing the tip and allowing the pen to drop below the end. I know that people have had trouble in the past finding replacement ink, but it is now sold on Amazon (another plus). I would love to see the company come up with a cap option; mostly, because I feel it would be one more area they could place more goodies (possibly a level, ruler or flashlight).Update:I have now been carrying and using the pen for several months. I typically only use the pen function for filling out checks (when I am in the office I use cheaper pens for note taking etc.), and have not had to replace the first cartridge yet. I have used one of the extra cartridges I purchased though. I put it in a kit on my key chain and have used it when I didn't have a pockets for my EDC. Then pen had a little extra space so I added a threaded magnetized needle and a size 8 fish hook (why not?). I have used the small blades several times and they are still exceedingly sharp. I have used the tweezers also and they take a little getting used to, but work well. They do have a tenancy to scratch the craftsmanship of the pen though as you take them on and off. I have not had an occasion to use the other tools on the pen, but they all continue to be in great working order no rust etc.

A possible solution to the problem
First off, let me say that this pen was way better than I expected. It really is a incredibly clever little design and quite sturdy to boot, with no little springs or moving parts to break. Now, there *are* lots of little parts you could lose, but personally, I find just a little mindfulness while handling will go a long way to keeping everything together. That being said, the quality of the different 'tools' is surprisingly good. Both the short and the long knives are very sharp and so are the saws, though I question how study they would be for sawing anything thicker than a pencil. I also really like that you can carry three of each type of blade inside the pen! The hole punch works like a charm and the screwdriver bits are well formed. The wire stripper does look a little flimsy, but I haven't actually tried it yet, so it might be fine. While I am not entirely sure what the scrapper is for, it certainly looks like it should do the job...whatever that might be. In fact, the only tool I would say is a little shaky is the tweezers/fork. While it is very cool that the tweezers are also the pocket clip (and the only dual sided pocket clip I've ever seen!), their actual capacity to tweeze things is limited. They should work fine for very small things, but picking up larger objects with them might be challenging. That aside, its quite a neat little item, especially for the price. One word of caution to the sensitive of hearing: the blades definitely rattle around a bit inside the pen, but its not that bad. Now, onto the big problem with the pen. As has been said, there doesn't appear to be any actual refill being manufactured for this pen. However, I think I've found a fairly simple work around. I just happened to order the True Utility Telepen at the same time that I bought this one and I found that the refills that came with the Telepen *will* fit inside this one. Now, on the True Utility site, they say that you can use a Bic type refill with that pen, as long as you cut it to length. Since the refills that came with the Telepen fit our multi tool pen here, I would imagine a Bic type refill would fit as well, if you cut it down short enough. I have yet to try this solution myself, but I thought I would throw it out there in case somebody wants to try it. I'll probably make an update here once I do get around to trying it myself. Overall, a really fun and interesting product for a great price. I'm definitely going to give some of these out as gifts, if only for the sheer novelty of it.

Small, well made, highly mobile and adaptable to thousands of uses
Will I use this device (note I used singular device)? I should use the plural because this item is many, many devices, not one. This "pen" falls into that vague category that fire exstigushers inhabit: I've been around them all my life but I've never used one. Am I sorry I purchased it? Absolutely not. When I saw it on Amazon I knew I had to have it. Its uniqueness is unsurpassed and if there are things, small things admittedly, minuscule jobs that come up this tool, I'm sure, will do the job. I will keep it in my briefcase ever ready to asssit in solving diminutive, knotty problems. The tools' main drawback are their size, being small they comee up short on heft. However, used properly, I believe the array of tools can perform most taskss to which they are assigned as long as their limitations are heeded. Another drawback is the complexity of the various small tool storage areas. The individual tools seem to be things you might need often: small exacto-type knives, tweezers, small screw drives, ball point, small scraper, the list goes on and on. Unless mounted when you need them, the individual tools take an inordinate amount of time to install, but the inconvenience is worth it.The single greatest drawback is probably the time it takes to extract the tools and get them setup. The price is more than fairer. I feel certain I will use this tool (actually bundle of tools contained in a cylinder) and I applaud the efforts of the designer/s tto come up with such a unique device.

I like compact multiple purpose tools for inclusion with my photography ...
I saw this item in a YouTube video a photographer made about the tools he carries with him on trips. I like compact multiple purpose tools for inclusion with my photography bag and when attending art shows. This tool is well made and will be helpful when I need to repair something on the road or field and am away from my main tool bin.

12 in 1 Multi Function Tool Pen
Not a bad little tool to have laying around for small jobs. I like the concept and construction of the tool. I removed the pen tip as I don't plan on using it to write with. The only thing I wonder about is where you find extra razor blades for it as they seem like they're uncommon sized blades since they are so small. Other than that I think it will be handy to have on hand.
